Thanks. My mom thinks I'm crazy but my friend did it the other day while I was and it turned out crisp and no burns I'm trying it now so I'll let you know.

I know people do it. I know it is done for large meals like at camps and on cruise ships, but I have never done it.

Did you get the instructions from your friend?

It's done and it tuned out great. It is a little smoky in here but not nearly as much as when you fry it. The best part is no burn marks.

With all the recent conversations about family, I thought some of you may appreciate this saying that was sent to me.

Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city.

Love it but can we tweak it to say another country or at least state!

I love it! Oh, don't worry, I had the same conversation with a couple co-workers. They knocked me back down to reality. Plenty of other opportunities to cruise in the future. Tons and tons of other chances down the road, no need to rush it for next year.

Yes Holly, like in 2010 or 2011 on the new ships I'm hoping for a mega-reunion

We are coming up on our 90 day mark for our Eastern. Am curious to see if we will have the same problems booking Palo and our excursions. Will we see a swimming Mickey all night this time??

Well, our plans for our trip to WDW in Oct are just about finalized All of our dining ressies made, airfare has been booked, just need to wait until the W&FF events are posted, I'm hoping to book a wine and food pairing or two for the three of us. I'm getting excited about this now. By the time we are back, it will be less than a year until cruise #2 and #3

I just wanted to let you know my sister swears by Relpax!! Her insurance has decided though that she can only have 8 a month and since some migraines occassionally do require 2 she calls her dr for samples if she runs out before the next presciption can be filled - luckily it isn't too often.

I have a stoneware jelly roll pan that works perfect for this though it's been a while since I've done it.

I dno't remember how long but I do remember 350 degrees and with the stoneware you don't need to flip it.

I love it!! We've lived over 2000 miles from all family for over 6 years - not sure how we are going to handle only being several hundred miles away

YEAHHHHHHH! We're booked in Orlando for four nights at the end of Sept. We'll be there on 9/29 for our 18th wedding anniversary. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH! More mouse for me!

We priced it out and for lack of significant funds and available time off from work.......we unfortunately........so very unfortunately.........will not be able to attend the event of a century in LA at the beginning of Sept. I will say though that Sept is a great time of the year to get married. Then you can celebrate that time of the year every anniversary. It's worked out for John and me and I wish the same for you guys, Ian and Sukie. PLEASE Post Pictures and share with us on here.

That's always worked for me! I've never lived in the same city with any family members, but I like that I'm no more than 90 minutes from either of my sisters.

OH, Yeah. I think we'll have everything ready in the next 2 weeks with fun announcements and assignments for everyone coming.

Does anyone know how to bake crisp bacon? My friend does it so I looked on line and there are a million different recipes. It isn't going to be the main dish so I would love to pop it in the oven and leave it. Since it is so slow around here, I probably won't get my answer until it is too late!

I always grill bacon and then you can have it as crisp as you like. However, it often sets the smoke alarm off!!!

We are going away for 3 nights later today. Tomorrow John is repairing a lectern at a University down south and then we are going on to see his mum. Cheap hotel tonight then one slightly better for Fri and Sat with breakfast!!
