I would like to be back there right now. I want to see things I didn't see and take pictures. I don't know why i didn't take pictures! Also, of course, the whole cruise would be right in front of me to enjoy again.

Well, my WBPC cruise pictures folder is chock full of wonderful pictures I've taken....FROM the DISboards. I haven't even downloaded my own pictures yet, but I've collected some 'filler photos'. Once I've downloaded mine and uploaded them to a hosting site, they'll be available for any of you 'copy' as you wish.

On to other, more pleasant things, as we were watching the History Detective last night, I share with Sukie some of Nan's postings.

I watched History Detective the other night after you had mentioned it here...sort of like Anitques Road Show meets CSI!


Well, another day at work coming up....BUT I have a lunch date with a coworker who is also a DISer. We've both been so busy the only time we've talked is on the DISboards. So we're doing some real life catch up today.

YEAHHHHHHH! We're booked in Orlando for four nights at the end of Sept. We'll be there on 9/29 for our 18th wedding anniversary. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH! More mouse for me!

We priced it out and for lack of significant funds and available time off from work.......we unfortunately........so very unfortunately.........will not be able to attend the event of a century in LA at the beginning of Sept. I will say though that Sept is a great time of the year to get married. Then you can celebrate that time of the year every anniversary. It's worked out for John and me and I wish the same for you guys, Ian and Sukie. PLEASE Post Pictures and share with us on here.

Lisa/g520 Good luck to you and Darrell today with your home hunting in Jacksonville. We'll definitely be able to get together either passing through Jacksonville or in Orlando or both......perhaps with Monica too in Orlando. Mon, we'll be seeing you in Orlando with or without Lisa and Darrell. I say the more the merrier if possible.

We're renting a car from here and driving down between Wed 9/24 night and Thurs 9/25 morning. We'll do one overnight on the way down in one of the Carolinas.....that will be on Thurs night. Then we'll be in Jacksonville on Fri 9/26 sometime between breakfast and lunch. Or we could just go and check in early on Friday and meet up with you all in Orlando. We're staying at Staybridge Suites right down the road from DTD. We're staying four nights. Monday 9/29 is our anniversary. We'll leave Tues 9/30 morning and do another overnight on the drive home and be home on Wed 10/1.

We can make some decisions as the time gets closer. I just wanted Lisa and Monica to have our travel schedule.

Thanks for the info - I'll check and see if that is our Friday off - if so we may go to WDW for the weekend!

Hi all...we are having a heat wave here in nor cal. It was 113 today at my office. RIDICULOUS!
My friends are having a blast on the magic. They are now 3 days in and enjoying every minute. As we all knew they would.

I hope the weather cooperates for the wedding in sept. I wouldn't want sukie to be uncomfortable on his special day!

Cork was quite active on here and was our and Carol and Dougs table mate with her hubby Rich. We had a ball.

She has been busy and has had some health issues.

Unfortunately she had her appendix out last week too, but is home and recovering now!!! Poor Cork.

Oh my, it's absolutely quiet here at work, everybody's at lunch, the phones aren't ringing (which is strange). AND I'm struggling to stay awake because I have NO work to do.

Now that the 1/2 off deposit is back, it's tempting to book the 9/12/09 cruise, especially considering final payment wouldn't be due for almost a year, so that would be plenty of time to save. Tyler would have just started 2nd grade by then, and I can't imagine he'd miss anything too important that 2nd week of the school year.
