Great news about getting in to the doctor this week, Holly!

.
His final appt still remains the end of July, BUT now that we will have 2 out of 3 done, all we have to do is just wait for another cancellation to get that 3rd appt. in quicker. This just gets us one step closer, a couple weeks sooner. :thumbsup2

How dare he give me a drug with weight gain as a side effect! And listen to this: "an increased appetite especially for sweets"!!! :headache: Well, this actually could be a good thing. I'll have something to blame it on! No, I'm not getting fat, it's the meds I'm on....yeah, that's it! At least I'll be HAPPY and MIGRAINE-FREE (hopefully)! ;)

Still not really caring about when we go to the park that weekend, we are open for wathever with whoever. But I'll check it out.

Well one of them is a celebrity....:duck:

Look at this smilie, it's me on a power trip
:mic:

I perfer my way JUST TELL ME and nevermind about needing to know, when you need to know I'll tell you :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (just kidding)(not really)(am I????)

hahahahahahahahahaha

I just did a Hotwire check for Sept. 5-9th, 2 people and it came up with a range of $36/night for a 2 star, $59/night for a 3 star, and $75/night for a 3.5 star. I've used Hotwire many times for my DL trips and have always been satisfied. The lowest I've gone is 2 star, and it was OK for just me.

We're staying at the HoJo:

In the research I've done, the time for the walk from the HoJo is the same as DLH, plus Mimi's is next door.

I believe it's to be Thurs. at the Orange Ct. courthouse and the celebration is Sat. in Downtown Disney somewhere.

Yes, it's on Thursday at the Orange County Old Courthouse. Regarding the celebration, the wedding planners, Nan and Kelly haven't revealed to me yet what is happening! :rotfl:

ok thanks for telling me that I'll use that as my excuse too :rolleyes1

remember those 11 pounds that disappeared from me while I was sick...darn it they came back. I think it had something to do with my bag of orange slices and spice drops :sad2:

don't worry we won't let you wait a minute past 5:01PM 9/6/08

Ian, thanks for the you tube. The turtle sold me...I'm booking here too. What was the room rate you got?

I got $79 for a couple of the nights and $119 for the rest. If you have the entertainment book and the card that goes along with it than you can get the $79.

Oh, there is a cheaper rate, but I went with a DL view and something away from the Freeway.

Also, don't book via the web or via the HoJo centralized res number. Call the hotel and book through the res department there, you can get a cheaper rate. Also don't forget to ask for a DIS discount.

Here's the link to the hotel's site, their res department is really very helpful:

Nan, Linda Seaulater went on priceline last spring and got $45 per night at the Sheraton.

Ok... I've been gone for about 36 hours - (NJ was ok... mom got a very good check up at the Dr...) and you guys just went chatty on me!!!

So here goes... I may catch up tomorrow... I have a piece of kentucky derby pie with my name on it down stairs... and I'm tired from the driving and lack of sleep...if ya know what I mean... Nan...;)

The tickets for Molly's play just got released for purchase online and I was able to get the first 2 front rows.

We will be a group of 18 celebrating in the front row that opening night of her birthday.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

We are going to sing happy birthday to her sometime during opening night. I think maybe at intermission. Should be fun fun fun.

Then she has a group of girl friends coming back to our house for a slumber party.

Don't forget the flowers!!!

it was so fruity good that I wanted to drink some this morning, but I didn't. I had to drink Molly to Girl Scout Day camp...that means I get to drink it tonight :goodvibes

Taking a quick Dis-break at work - scanning through and this made me chuckle - how do you DRINK Molly to Girl Scout Day??:confused3 :rotfl2:

Vewy Cafuwy... Actually I went through a DWI checkpoint over the weekend on the way home from the lake... only time I've ever had to go 2 MPH on a road in the middle of no where!!! All I can say is right after I passed it... I burped up a lovely aroma of apple wine... :rolleyes1 (it was more apple than wine...believe me... )

Still got 3 minutes left on my break, so I'll share a cute story.

Kaleigh (DD3) has been complaining off and on for the last few days that she has seeds in her eyes. Ken finally figured out yesterday that she really means sleep in her eyes. We asked her if its really sleep in her eyes and she said its because when she's asleep a monster comes and puts seeds in her eyes.:rotfl2: :lmao: I'm surprised, she's never complained about the monster at bedtime!

Now I have to get back to work!

It's Sully... tell her not to worry...

Today was a horrible day. Way too much stress and conflict.

Right at 5PM two of my colleagues had a really nasty fight, well it was more like one of them beating up the other. I wanted to crawl under my desk. I stayed late to make sure the remaining one was OK.

I subsequently had to take a later train. Missed my train and because it was now 6PM the trains were not running every 10 minutes. I had to wait 45 minutes for train, and then it was late.

I'll be happy to just crawl into bed and forget about today.

Ian... remember Scarletts advice... Not the one about giving a D@&M... the other one!!!

Holy crap Ian! Next time you have a day like that, call ahead and have Sukie waiting with a glass of wine and a footrub. ;) But seriously.....just get some rest and when you wake up in the morning, it will all be over.

OK, I'm headed to have some Poptarts and to read in bed before I fall asleep sitting here. Catch ya'll tomorrow!

Those videos are a hoot! I've stayed at the HoJo, about a year ago with my nephew. It was nice. I also stayed there in May 07 when I went to the POC premier.

Just FYI, we stayed in one of the rooms facing the freeway and amazingly, it was pretty quiet! Or maybe we were just exhausted! :lmao:

I agree with everything Ian says! They also offer an AP rate, but I think the Entertainment Rate, if it's available, is the cheapest.

Re: hotels in the DL area, this weekend Dylan and I are staying at the Park Vue Inn. Never stayed there before. It's directly across from the DL entrance on Harbor. The Trip Advisor reviews are mostly OK. It includes breakfast, has WIFI and it's $603 for 4 nights. We often stay at the DL Hotel but the rooms were $300 night! I'll report on it after the trip.
