We got our docs too yesterday. When the room assignments finally come in for everybody I'm going to be super busy adding them to the FE list :scared1:

Reminder that tomorrow is the last day to sign up for FE

I'm sure most are busy getting ready for Easter dinner and such. We decided to keep it low key this year since we have so much stuff coming up next month. Hope everyone has a great Saturday! :goodvibes

Thank you for doing the FE... You've done a great job!!! My parents just finished the last of ours, can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of them...

The porters or the people at the airport have those. I guess I just don't get it.

I got mine as did my sister. But my parents' docs were sent to someone else by mistake. The person who received it called Disney so new docs are going to be sent to my parents. Not sure if this happened to anyone else but if anyone else is still waiting on theirs, it might be worth a call to DCL to make sure the docs were sent to the right person and address.

Just to update - yesterday my parents received someone else's documents for the cruise. I guess they switched the address and the names around somehow. It was someone else's name and cabin number but my parents mailing address. I am sure it will work out, but did this happen to anyone else? Or maybe it just happened to my parents and the other family that got swapped somehow.

At any rate very excited for the cruise!

Thank you for doing the fe schedule. Hope you have a nice easter and the bunny brings you some goodies.

Hope everyone has a great Easter. We are definitely doing the low key route. I am still getting over last weekends Easter Egg Hunt with 25 3/4 yrolds. We had a blast and got to visit with so many of our friends. Then on monday we went to Malibu and had a super lunch on the water and then got to play in the sand for a couple of hours. So tomorrow will be church and then brunch at one of our favorite restaurants in Burbank. I hope the Easter Bunny brings you all some delicious goodies.

No Easter here, but I love my matzo with peanut butter and jelly. It was funny yesterday. I was at a Kohl's and the guy ringing me up told me he was sorry that I had to work Easter when he asked us what our plans were. I told him it is fine, I am Jewish so I have nothing better to do anyway. He felt better then.

We went to Disneyland yesterday with my B&SIL and their girls. First stop was the new Fantasy Faire. Ariel was one of the princesses in the Royal Hall. What happened next was a perfect example of how CMs make Disney magic.

So first of all, the three of them rush Ariel and nearly knock her over, which she just laughs off. Then they all start talking at her, and she somehow manages to pick out what each one is trying to say to her. Then, DD hits a new level of volume and says over the others, "You were on the big ship for my birthday!!!" (MR last year).

Ariel did not miss a beat. "Yes, I was! It's so nice to see you again." Then my niece said, "We're going on a Disney cruise in May, will you be on the ship again?" Again, without hesitation, Ariel said, "Of course I will. We're going to have so much fun!"

I was so impressed with the CM's continuity of character I went to GS and submitted a compliment report.

We are usually low-key (always events done by other people) but Easter is also when our congregation does spring child dedications, so this year we are frantically trying to get ready for the after-celebration at our house tomorrow. Over forty people are coming! We've been so busy the last few days we haven't even been able to check our mailbox for our cruise packet.

Just a quick question please. I have never sailed Disney, but have attended many meet and greets. Has our meet and greet been been shared with DCl? Usually 'gifts' are given to the Meet and greet leaders to raffle off to attendees of the meet and greet. Cookies and coffee are provided, as well as staff showing up and mingling. I think i will post this on the 'big' Dis board. (if i can find it) Thanks!

In that case, a belated Chag Sameach for Pesach. :D

What is your favorite restaurant in Burbank? I grew up in Burbank & so did my son. Do you live there? Looking forward to meeting you.

happy easter everyone - sun is shining and snow is melting up here - fingers crossed that this winter is over...looking forward to this cruise and relaxing and soaking up some warmth!!!

Thanks, just can you translate? Thanks.

Happy Festival, for Passover? Started this past Monday night at sundown, ends day after tomorrow? My school shares an academic calendar with the Academy for Jewish Religion CA so the holidays are always posted. Last semester we missed several Tanak class lectures because Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot were all on the same day as class so it was cancelled. Midterm exam wasn't until November!

Thanks. Yes, I am Jewish but I don't practice. I only knew Passover started cause my mom asked me if I wanted a box of Matzo. I could not tell you the last time I have even been to a temple.

My grandkids went to an Easter egg hunt at a friend's house in the country, they had a blast. Easter Sunday for us is Church and then Easter dinner at our house. Ham, potatoes, corn, homemade rolls. Just my wife and I with our daughter, her kids and her boyfriend. We will miss seeing our other three kids, so that make it low key for us (compared to Thanksgiving and Christmas).

Sun is out here today and hoping that Spring has arrived.

We got our cruise docs yesterday too! I can't believe how fast this cruise is coming up!
:cheer2: Got ours too.

Our cruise docs arrived on Monday, YAY! Hope we receive our room assignment in the next couple weeks. We're going to have so much fun:yay::yay::yay:

Paid too much $ to expedite passport renewals:mad: After we got passports for the girls, I completely forgot our renewals:confused3 'til yesterday! The post office passport clerk had a litany of DCL complaints. No casino, no late night bars, too many kids, and "NO HOT CHICKS." (it was a little odd)
We love that there are no casinos (we don't gamble), we don't need late night bars (we enjoy some of the happenings in the Adult Entertainment District), too many kids (we don't see that many kids - it's like they have their own deck on the ship :) ), and the only "Hot Chick" I care about is traveling with me, my DW :rotfl2:

Just saying part of the reason I love DCL so much is the fact there is no casino. I always say the night life is what you make it. I have meet some great friends I still talk to this day that I have meet down in the bar.
I like your response. Everything about the cruise is "what you make it".

:dancer: We love getting our Cruise Documents.

It means to us that the cruise is getting close and that it really is going to happen.
After all of the planning it is one of the last mailings we get from Disney.
Even though most of it is available online it is bound together in a nice keepsake booklet.
I love seeing our names on the luggage tags,
I use the checklist inside and make copies of the contact cards for our family and housesitter.
It doesn't have to mean the same thing for everyone, but for us it is exciting and something to celebrate :dance3:

I can understand that. Every time when I was a kid I would make myself sick with excitement before our WDW trips. So now as a adult I just have the, what day do we leave? Attitude.

Just a little bistro right in the center of town. No we do not live there yet. We are in Santa Clarita at the moment but Heather works at the corporate office for the mouse in Glendale and Jackson will be starting school at ST. Francis Xavier in a special Tkindergarden program this Sept. So we are planning on moving to the burbank hills area within the next few years. We are gradually crawling out from under on her house which is a beautiful house but not in the area we need to be in.
