WBC Fireworks view worth it?

Hi all,

We're trying to book a trip right now. Ideally, a 3BR would work best for our family's space needs, but it limits our probability of getting a fireworks view request filled. A 2BR works okay and it maximizes our probability of a fireworks view request.

That said, is a fireworks really worth it?

I read mixed reviews: mostly in favor of the view, but some say they think the fireworks view is limited with what you can see, generally is over the parking lot as well, while a lake view is just as nice. Some don't seem to care either way.

Anyway, thoughts/opinions on my question are greatly appreciated.

Having stayed in a 3 bedroom, I would choose that over the view. You could book a 2 bedroom and still not get your room request granted. Honestly, no matter what your view is, you still see WDW from your balcony. Just ask for a higher floor. You will love it. We were facing the woods and could see DTD and Typhoon Lagoon from our balcony. Even though we were facing the parking lot side, it didn't feel like a parking lot view because we were high enough up.

If a 3BR works for your family, book the 3BR. I would not sacrifice comfort for the high shots of Illuminations nightly---particularly given it's only a request, and not a guarantee.

We had the fireworks view. It was not a must-have before I went, but I found that I really enjoyed it. I would go out of my way to have the fireworks view next time, but not to the point where I would sacrifice room size.

Hi there,

I have stayed there several times and have always like the firework view, however during the day it is really just the parking lot. The kids were tired of watching the fireworks after the third day and most other nights we weren't back in time to see them from the room. I will def. request a pool view next visit for something different. Hope this helps!

THIS. The end of each of our days was complete after fireworks. But if we needed a 3 bedroom I wouldn't sacrifice the space for that view:)
