Ways to stay cool

Summer is here in Texas! "Feels like" 108 today. We have our cruise at the end of August and we are leaving out of Port Canaveral. I'm looking for ideas to stay cool and for places to hang out on the ship when it's really hot. Is there a shaded place to hide out for the Sail Away party? Is CC really hot this time of year? We cruised last April and it was really warm, but tolerable. It doesn't take long for my 2 y/o to over heat and I'll be 21w pregnant too.

LOL! At least here I can just hide inside during the day. It is going to be a loooooong summer here. FL might actually be a welcome break

108 is a walk in the park! We're supposed to reach 120 in AZ this weekend. One of my favorite cooler hangouts is on the soft deck chairs on deck 5. It's great to relax there and feel the ocean breeze while watching the sea go by. I can't help with the sail away party though, we always watch it from deck 12 in the sun.

@Club Disney Chandler Currently 100 in Vegas but will reach 117 next week. Been living here 12yrs and still can't get used to it. @Sandbtwmytoes I hope to see a report after your trip. I will be going next year in August and was pretty much wondering the same.

there are definitely some shady areas. The whole outside of the main deck is covered. there are a few shady spots around the stacks and there is a small family wading pool they just put in on the Dream up on 12
