Unfortunately we have to cancel out WDW trip this fall and we may lose one year of points by canceling. Do you know of sites that we can sell a booked stay ay WDW? I do not know if selling points would work since they expire at the end of November.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

You are not selling your points or reservation, you are renting them. If you would like to try to rent your preexisting reservation you can go to the rent/trade board here on the DIS and see if you can find a renter. You then would contact MS and change the information over to your renter's name. I'm not sure if David's or TSS rent out established room reservations or just points. If they do, I would definitely give them a call.

Renting your points would be more difficult because someone would need to be able to find a place to use those points before next month.

yep, probably better to keep the current reservation and try to rent it as-is.

if you have established an ebay account, that is one option. (also could rent it on TUG or redweek, but again, it works better if you have an established account rather than starting one up for this purpose.)

i would try first on the DIS but i haven't looked into what the current renting rules are, so go check out the stickies on the rent/trade board and make sure you are allowed to rent a pre-made reservation.

As long as your reservation is within 30 days of arrival, you could purchase the Gold rental plan (since you have not yet been registered for 6 months and have 50 posts) and offer your existing reservation. That way you could either rent your reservation or offer to make a reservation for someone using those points (cancel the reservation and rent a reservation made using those points). With the limited availability in the next 7 weeks, you may fare better trying to rent the existing reservation.

Please review the **How to use this Board** thread near the top of the Rent/Trade Board before submitting a rental thread, as there are some good suggestions about renting in that thread.

Good luck! :)
