My 6-year-old is busy being a kid, not sitting in a chair with ankles crossed and perfect behavior.
While my daughter's smart, no full scholarships have been offered. I better get on the ball there.. only 12 years left until college!
I don't expect an upgrade to the presidential suite because I found a hair in the bathroom.
I don't give a fluff if I can save $300 on a Disney trip by completing an 18 step discount gift card roundup.

My kid got a scholarship, but thank god it was talent not grade based - he would still be in Community College.
MY DS is perfect a perfect pain in the butt, that is now his DW's problem- don't tell anyone but sometimes I don't even like him.
I can't balance a budget or feed just the 2 of us on $1.57 a week.
I belong to no coupon,Target,Costco or any other savings clubs.
We book our vacations on the spur of the moment, with no(the horror)laid out plans.
I have been known to have a martini before going to the gym, makes the TM more like an obstacle course.

I don't wear pearls or have dinner of the table for my spectacularly wonderful handsome patient all knowing guy.

I don't go to Disney 9+ days.
Stay value.
Never fly there.
Never take a foodie picture/don't care about the food.
My kids were only involved in 1 thing in school.
They get help from my husbands military stint for college.
Though I have been able to feed my family of 5-now 4 for 2.57 a week...1.57 is impossible.
And I only am able to get an average of 40 pts a day on swagbucks.

This is going to take guts (deep breath)….I have been to Disney many times in my life but, if I never go again I would be ok with it. My friend told me about the Budget Board one time, I checked it out, and then stumbled upon the Community Board and never left.

I know for sure the Dissers are better parents than I am!!
I am spending my retirement so my kid can go to school away instead of commuting to the school fifteen minutes away.
That's because it's worth that much for her to be out of my house.
She is involved in things like robotics and not a Dis-sanctioned sport.
She got a D- in AP chem - and we think that was a gift.
All due to my parental failings.

I also don't know why it's a humongous deal for y'all to say mail-carrier instead of mailman or firefighter instead of fireman. It's just an extra syllable or two. It seems like righteous indignation over nothing.

I think DVC is a horrible investment. GASP!
My kids go to public school.
I watch reality television.
We went to Disney two weeks ago, I can't wait to go to Universal next year.
We love our Bibles and our guns.
I think it is gauche to talk about incomes and savings, even anonymously on the Internet.
My time is worth more than the savings from all the different websites and clubs, etc.
My teens have a curfew.

I've never lost sleep over the animals I've eaten. And I obviously have at least 11 fewer weeks of vacation than the average DISer.

Edit: I love staying offsite, I don't take midday breaks, I don't do ADR's, and I think Sea World & Universal are just as fun as Disney.

I save money by gathering salt packets when I visit McDonald's.
I don't eat their, no I just go in to use the restroom, and excuse myself do to the long line, while taking any available condiments on my way out.

On top of all the previously listed attributes, my home is a bed and breakfast to all family, friends, acquaintances, frenemies, enemies, foreign dignitaries, those seeking political asylum and their pets. Just show up whenever and knock on the door. I'm waiting with coffee at all hours.

My pets live forever, including ones my kids have left here. I would like my two corgis to live forever but there's currently a pair of finches and in the past ferrets, guinea pigs and lizards I have done research into the life span, which is always much shorter then what happens here.

I'm a Christian.

We own guns & support our military.

That probably about covers it.

Oh... I like animals & support animal conservation, but I also think that human life is more valuable than animal life. I'm an American, & I'm proud to "mother" my kids. I'll leave the "fathering" to DH. I kinda like my inlaws. I think my DH is wonderful, & I'm proud to be his wife. I take no offense at most words. I appreciate good manners & graciousness, & I'm fine w/ being called a lady.

But I will plan the heck out of a Disney vacation.
