is better then you. Sometimes these boards remind of Garrison Keiler's imaginary town where I believe all the women were good looking, the men were strong and the children were above average.
So one way they are better - there is a tiny chance if somebody poked a finger in my face, yelling I might swat it away. I'm non-confrontational so I could also run away.
Also, all of my kids did not get good grades are full scholarships.

They all have fully funded emergency funds, scholarship funds, and retirement plans. And they drive a 40 year old car that they built themselves, live in a one room house that they built as a child, and are too cool for cable, smart phones, and high-speed internet. Plus they can buy groceries to feet a family of 12 for $1.57 a week.

Oh... They also home school their award-winning children so that they can take them out of school for Disney vacations several times a year.

According to these boards sometimes I think everything; I don't fund my retirement enough(or the way I should), I don't have a 529 college plan, I haven't figured out that my in-laws are the cause of all my problems yet, I'm a barbarian that still owns a gun. Most have bigger houses than I do, make more money than I do, have way fewer health issues than I do, and take more vacations than I do.

I don't let it bother me for one second because I wouldn't want a different life. Could it be easier, absolutely, but there are more than a few people here that I feel sorry for. They're so bitter and angry that it just proves money and vacations and health won't get you everything..

I'm way below the average Dis'er. I loved Seinfeld. I don't care if I can't eat peanut products on a plane. And I am truly sick and tired of our PC society being offended over the tiniest of minutia.

And my family ... just as bad. If not worse!

My kid is not perfect, she whines. My dh and I have been known to argue without stopping and checking to see if it's about the same thing. We have all been to Sea World (more than once). And ... here it comes, we've been sick of each other after 6 days at WDW. (I'm not even going to mention our feelings on FP+.)

Yes, send us to the guillotine.

I know the bolded is an exaggeration, but I seriously wonder if people are living off of dried beans and rice with the weekly grocery bills that they claim.

<clearing throat and standing up> Hi, I'm Jaya and I actually have been known to go to Disney without a touring plan. I know I'm really falling down on the job and will have an absolutely horrific time and everybody else on the Disney boards will laugh at me behind my back because I didn't spend eight hours a day for twelve months planning my potty breaks to coordinate with my fast passes. Sigh. I realize I'm a great disappointment. Oh, and to add insult to injury, I don't like Vera Bradley purses, especially Disney Vera Bradley purses. Yes, I'm a disgrace. Oh, I forgot, I eat all my meals at counter-service restaurants and have never been to a character breakfast. I'll never have two million dollars to back me up in retirement. I'll just slink off now and ponder on my inadequacies for a while.

After a wdw vacation I do not return to the Dis to post a lengthy, funny, compelling, tip giving, trip report.

Actually I get so bitter that I have to return to reality that I stay off of the Dis until I have a new vacation to plan in the foreseeable future. Then I realize how much I have missed out on and have to learn.

Our *new* car was bought 8 years ago and our 21 year old home with existing mortgage still has had no updating . I do not have a smart phone *gasp* . Our air mattress fits in a value room no problem~one time we were super swanky and used DS cot, off the floor and everything! We stayed OFF-SITE in a condo for $199 for a week, and I think it is super cool that stealth weddings take place at Disney. I use the term Snowflake freely and I wouldn't be surprised if my image was on the 'Shopper of Walmart" website. I am not a member of Sam's OR Costco and I don't have a Target Red Card, swag bucks or whatever lets you get the super duper disney card savings of 5%. Oh, my kid used a selfie stick every day on our last (see off-site above) trip, ~and we have some terrific footage. I didn't decorate our magic bands and we somehow still got thru the turn-styles. I drink Folgers coffee out of my basic Hamilton Beach auto drip NON Keurig and don't belong to a gym or have a home gym. I have a Bath and Body Works 3 wick candle problem and my DD needed loans to get thru her last 2 years of college. I watch trash t.v. for fun and don't have a financial advisor, a maid service or passport. I do not have Christmas presents bought and wrapped yet and will probably put some on a credit card.

Hi everyone, I stay off site in Motel 6, get multiple EOS free sandwich coupons , cant stand character meets, never do dining plans, cant be bothered wasting time using an antibacterial wipe before I sit down or using a tv remote in a hotel, only buy full price Disney pins in The Disney Store or in the parks, dont own an AP , only go to Disney once a year, have no problem using my elbows to barge past slow walkers, groups of people who just stop for no reason, have never done photo plus or take selfies, dont use an online touring plan, I watch trash TV, we cut our own lawn and do our own gardening and house cleaning, I dont own a car and cant drive, I use the bus in my daily life and shock horror use the LA bus system when in California, I sneak food into a movie theatre, bring my own food onto flights instead of paying for their overpriced food,
