Wayfair....yay or nay?

Ordered kids furniture on several occasions.. I've never been disappointed.

Well, the good news is...the blanket came today! It's soft and lovely, and apparently got here just in time, as I also heard a blurb on the news about a strike tomorrow. (I'm actually a little confused about that, but I think I'd better read up on it somewhere else, as it sounds like it would stray out of bounds here.)

I did briefly question the three layers of plastic packaging (...but then decided I'd have been glad for that if it had been out in the rain!)

I want to hear your good and bad experiences with Wayfair. We are looking to get a desk and bookcase. Prices are low so I'm assuming the quality will match. Don't want to spend a fortune so Wayfair is an option. I'm just anxious about buying online....

I just ordered some pictures for my kids' bedroom on Wayfair. The prices were slightly on the high end, but the pictures are beautiful and very high quality. Shipping was fast and their tracking system was very up to date. I would order from them again.

They have some very nice stuff that you don’t need to assemble at all- you just have to read the reviews carefully. Our living room sofas, two recliners, a rug, and our dining room table are all from wayfair. The only assembly we did was sliding the backs of the recliners onto the base, which is pretty standard.

I bought an area rug that I love! Such nicer quality than anything I’ve seen at local stores. I also love a desk I got for my daughter. My sister just decorated her whole new house on wayfair. Light fixtures, shelves, wall art and carpets. Everything is great. My advice is to take your time and read the reviews.

I have bought a filing cabinet- wine rack and 2 rugs and I feel like everything has been good quality. The rugs are fantastic! I will definitely use them again in the future.

I have been eyeing an outdoor dining set on it but I am so hesitant to purchase something like that online.
I've seen the same set on a couple other sites but Wayfair is the cheapest.

I bought a pair of twin beds. they were inexpensive and nicer than I thought they would be for the price but not high end. They were easy to assemble and will last the amount of time that I will need them to. Not an heirloom piece that I would pass one but great for what I paid.

I highly doubt it. In the history of the CB there have been exactly two other threads on Wayfair. Such a coincidence the third would be posted at the exact same time they announce a strike the next day. This thread has now become nothing more than a place to quasi-legitimately post political opinions. I'm sure there'll be mention of the walkout at tonight's debate, esp by Senator Warren of MA.
Maybe for some....probably not for most. One can't get a hands on experience from online shopping until the item has been received. Nice to hear feedback from previous customers. JMO

I've had great luck with them. The products can range from cheap to very nice. My folks bought a very, very nice hot tub from them, and they sent 2 hot tub covers and not the steps. They let them keep the extra cover and sent the steps. They ended up selling the extra cover, so that was kinda cool.

I've ordered twice from them. Once was a set of outdoor lights. They were a little weird, as in irregular. We managed and they looked fine. The other was a small piece of furniture that I hated, returned and I think I remember it costing quite a bit for the shipping return on top of paying the cost of shipping to my house. Its been a while, so I might be mis-remembering, but I feel like I wouldn't order from them again because of that.

Let's just say after hearing about the cruelty they're involved with, I will never be shopping for anything from Wayfair EVER!!

Their employees are going to stage a walkout tomorrow due to what they're involved with.
This also, I was already not planning on shopping with them. But this would have prevented me from doing it again. Although, I do appreciate their employees and wish them the best of luck.
