Way to long until next trip

I'm having a missing disney tantrum. We were there in September and I'm having withdrawls, DH says we're not going again until the kids are a little older, meaning Jan. 2008. How do I survive until then???

How old are your kids? Does you dh think it was too much work dragging the little ones around? Just curious because our first trip is in June with a 4 and 6 year old.

Wait till dh goes to bed, sneak him and the kids into the car and drive there !!! Well good luck to you, I'll be there in June , DL in August and back to the world for Thanksgiving. You can come on 1 of my trips if you want !!!!

Ugh, we are in the same situation..except DH says we won't go back until we have GRANDKIDS! LOL (mind you my dd is only 3!!!!!!) We just back from a December trip and had so much fun..but he insists on putting a *Different* vacation btwn Disney trips. So, I am hopeing for 2008, if I am lucky. I am thinking that maybe a DIsney Cruise suffices as a *Different Vacation.

My DH used to say that we needed to go other places, until I convinced him to join the DVC . Now since we are saving money (that is what I tell him anyway) we have to go!

I was going thru the same withdrawal last month when we returned from Disney....then, problem solved!!!! We recently booked another 8 day trip for May!!!

I kind of see his point, we went in September and the kids were 20mos. and 3 weeks. The only reason we took them that young is because it was a big family trip, so he says the kids have to be at least 2 and 4 before we go again. This was his first trip and he said we needed to go other places instead of Disney every year, until we went He just doesn't want to drag around an infant and 2 year old this year. I'm working on it, but I think I'm fighting a losing battle. I'm thinking that maybe my nephews need to go again though, hmmm maybe we'll work on Grandma. lol

We got back from WDW on Feb. 15th and I have not been back to these boards until today!!! i could not bring myself back because of depression!!! We will not be back until 2008 and I can't wait until then! My parents ( the nerve of them) are having everyone go on a cruise for their 50th wedding anniv.! And it is not even a Disney cruise!! I do not know what I will do for close to two years!! Any suggestions?? And please do not say take a short trip back because if we could we would!! Ok, I need to put the sharp objects away!! (you know I am just kidding right???) Have a magical day!! And what is up with all of the Disney comercials on TV now!!!

I know how you all feel...

We have been in October 2005 but I miss it so bad. Trying to figure out when I'll be there next. But that's not such an easy task as we come all the way from Belgium... I guess 2007 is not to far away (but I so want to go every year)

I am looking into the DVC too. Who knows, if this goes well I might make it out there every year... Working on it... but for now 2007 is my closest guess..
