way OT~ all inclusive resorts

Let's face it. If you're here on these boards, it means you enjoy the Disney Park vacations which are typically "active" rather than "relaxing". Wherever I travel, I tend to turn the vacation into a Disney-like vacation planning meals and including as many excursions as I can to keep busy. Any savings with the all-inclusive deal with meals and drinks included is lost on the added cost of the excursions.

I burn easily in the sun so laying on a hot beach is not my thing. Also, I like to keep my mind busy on vacation. If I try to relax and take in the moment...I immediately start to think about my stressful job at work. So, silence is not golden for me.:thumbsup2

The only part I can agree with is the part about being on these boards meaning you enjoy Disney vacations.

All inclusives are far from a deal. I spent on a 1 week trip what I would spend on 2 weeks at WDW and I went in the off season.

I own my own company so that's about as stressful as you can get. I have no problem relaxing on vacation and doing nothing. It's why I go away....as do most people. I have spent as much time at a Disney resort pool lounging on a chair or reading as I have in the parks. I never lay in the sun so that's not what it's about. There is something very magical about stretching out on a lounge chair(even in the shade) with palm trees all around you, blue water, the sound of gentle waves on the shore, white sand and an ocean breeze. Top it off with some latin music and a fruity drink. The water in particular is mesmerizing....you can sit all day and not move.

Breaking it up makes you love WDW all the more when you return.
