I recently got my legs waxed because I hate shaving....and wow! It feels great afterwards. I thought it was going to be quite painful...but it really wasn't too bad:yay: So anyways...I was wondering if any dissers wax? and What?

I tried that Nads product. I tore some flesh out. Will never do it again! Those hairy women in the commercial should be screaming or maybe I didn't do it right.

I get my legs waxed and my bikini line waxed. I started last summer and I love it. I do find it painful and so annoying letting the hair grow back. I can't stand the hair so long. But it is nice in the winter time not having to shave every other day.

I get my back waxed before vacation so that I don't look like Chewbacca at the pool. It does not hurt very much and I love the clean feeling.

I once (yes, just once) got my bikini line waxed. I almost left only half done. Let's just say, it wasn't pleasant. Personally, I'm a plucker for eyebrows. Yes, that's right. I said it! I'm addicted to pluckin!

Would you mind if I ask you a simple question? Are you embarrassed to do this? I would like to have this done before my trip to the Poly in July and I wonder how do you go about this. Who do you call for such a thing? I always been embarrassed by my back hair and like to have this done. I don't want to feel like an idiot walking into a salon with a bunch of women getting their hair done and announce "I'm here for my 4:30 waxing".

I'm also curious about the pain level as well. Is the skin tender for a while? Also how long does this treatment last? I hate to do this on a regular basis and I tend to think of myself as a low maintenance guy.

I can't believe I'm asking this and I'm on my knees, begging the tag fairy. Please for the love of God, don't put any of this in my signature.:scared: Have some compassion.

I voted "other" ;) My esthetician recommends taking ibuprofen an hour before a waxing.

I'll answer for mine. I go to a "Guy's salon". You'd be suprised how many guys get waxed. For duration it last about 4-6 weeks depending on your hairiness. And to avoid break out I'll usually use 'Bikini Zone' for the first few days afterward.

The first time I was tender for a week. But now it only seems to be tender for a day or two.

I know you weren't asking me but I would recommend a full treatment spa for your waxing that way you aren't walking into some little beauty shop with the ladies and feeling embarssed. I would also say take a tyelnol or advil or whatever pain reliver you like about 30 mins or so before you go because there will be some pain and redness and possible swelling.

I don't mind the waxing anymore but only do it for special occasions ;)

That's what the doctor told my mom back in 1967 when I was born. I hope I'm a man or my wife of 10 years is going to pretty hot. My two kids didn't come by immaculate conception or at least I don't think they did...... :lmao:

Seriously, did you really think I was a woman and do woman have back hair?

If a woman has the large amount of back hair I do, she's going to be single for a long time. Brrrr.....:scared1:
