Hi all.

I am going to get a Kodak Playsport or something similar.

I would just like to know if the CM's let you on the rides with these devices?

Also, how to do carry your camera around the water parks with you?

Thanks :goodvibes

Hi, I took a waterproof camera into the parks last visit and the one I got had a blue strap (I think it was a Kodak Sport) and I just put that around my wrist. I'm not sure if you can take them on water slides (I don't go on them) but we took it into the pool and around the lazy river :thumbsup2

I took a disposable water proof camera on the family raft ride. It was no problem and I actually got a couple really funny shots.

Not sure about taking pics on the other slides or raft rides though.

There is another similar thread on this page I have just posted on. Whether it is actually permissable to take a camera on the slides, I can't tell you, but as I mentioned on the other thread, I did and was never stopped and told otherwise. I had it on a lanyard type strap which I wore across the shoulder.

There are enough video clips on youtube to suggest that it is pretty common for people to take their cameras with them. Also, the waterparks both sell waterproof containers to carry around your neck. THey are not designed for cameras, but I can't see the difference between having one of those and having a camera with you on the slides. I had both - it has never occurred to me that it may not be allowed.

I took my Playsport to BB last year. LOVE the playsport camera by the way. I had asked, and they didn't want them on the big rides, but I never did those. I took it on all the raft rides and the one mat/slide thing. They just don't want it flying off of you on the huge drops, but I think if you have it on a strap or something, it should be fine.

I took a waterproof diposable camera to the waterparks in April. It had a blue strap that goes around your wrist. I took it on all the rides with me, even Summit Plummet, and was never told I couldn't. I think you shouldn't have a problem as long as you have it secured to your body (to avoid fly-aways).
