We plan to visit Orlando the first week in January. We have access to discounted tickets. My daughter loves to swim but I don't want to buy tickets for waterparks if it will be to cold to enjoy oursleves. I know they are open year round but are they
warm enough. Thanks Paula

We will be there the end of December and wanted to try BB. We have a plus to use on our park hopper tickets and most of a day to fill after we get off of the cruise.

So I too would like to hear what the temperatures are like at this time of year.

Thanks!

I printed the park hours for January and BB is listed as REHAB. I assumed that meant it was closed. You may want to check that out.

January temps can have a wide range--from toasty to very cool. When we went in January we would pack our suits just in case, but learned after the first year that setting aside a day for a water park was not smart. And remember that the parks close much earlier that time of year--you definitely won't want to give up time at the park for a water park.
Like the previous poster said, it's prime time for rehab, so at least one of the WPs will be closed.
My advice--enjoy your resort pool if the weather cooperates. It probably will be a bit cool to run around a water park.

TL is listed for Rehab, but BB is open 10-5:00. We are planning to go on December 23rd. Really, the only reason we are going is because we get off of the cruise that morning and we don't fly out until that evening and need something to do that day. We will have a park hopper left on our pass, but no park days. So I figured we might as well go to BB and check it out (we have never been there before).

If our park hopper included DQ, I would much rather go there. If it is too cold to go to the waterparks we will just have to come up with something else.
