We will be going down mid-October (around the 18th or 19th) and my DD8 thinks she MUST go to a waterpark this year (previously have never been to a Disney water park).

PLEASE tell me that the weather will be warm enough for the water parks.

Anyone have any experience with this??

Thanks!!

Hi PrincessDana,
Yes, the weather should be more than warm enough. We were at WDW last year from October 4 to the 11th and enjoyed the waterparks and swimming nearly everyday. We've been in November when it was still more than warm enough to go swimming. Never have tried it in December, but have seen some "snow birds" who thought it was warm enough to swim (I am truely from the south, it has to be in the upper 80's for me to go swimming ;) ). The weather should be beautiful for you, hope you have a great vacation.

We also went at beginning of Oct. until the 11th and swam everyday. Beautiful weather for swimming.

We hit the waterparks in Oct the past 2 years, and back in 96 on our honeymoon we hit them both in December/January.

We hit Blizzard Beach the first week of October last year and it was pretty hot! Same with Typhoon Lagoon for Thanksgiving week.

We usually go at the end of November or early December and have always hit a water pari and had a great time.

So, if it is warm enough in December I can only imagine how nice it will be in October.

Have fun
