Water parks in March?

Hello all!

We are currently in the early planning stages for a trip to WDW in March 2018. I have been to the resort many times, but never been to the water parks and never been there in March.

I will be traveling with an almost 5 yrs old boy, plus my husband. It will be my son's first trip, and we'll be there for 2 weeks.

My questions:

-Is the weather warm enough during that time to go to the water parks? Are they even open?

- Which one is the best park for a kid that age?

Any info will be appreciated!

We have been twice in early March and lucked out with good weather.

It was pretty empty and had the place to ourselves...but early March is different than later in the month.

We strongly prefer bb...much nicer kids area. They have a toddler section and an older kid section as well. Also the wave pool is tamer and better for kids (and me since the tl pool threw a guy into me and knocked the wind out!)

Usually only 1 of the 2 is open, in early March at least. Not sure rest of month.

We actually prefer bb to some of the theme parks :)

Great! Thanks, that helps a lot! Working on the planning right now, so I will add this info to my binder :yay:
