Water Parks in February

We received free water park passes with the package I purchased for our trip the first week in February. Is it typically warm enough to actually use them? I wasn't sure as I have never been to FL in February. I know the water is heated but if its too cool outside I'm not sure I want to waste the day. I think its Blizzard Beach that is open, one of them is closed for renovations that week.

Last year, we went to BB and the temp was just right. The year before it would have been too cool. All you can do is watch the weather. Catch the local news, the Weather Channel is the generic, not location specific during the "local on the 8s".
Another consideration is where you are from. We go down from NY so it feels much warmer to us than to a southerner or local.

I think it actually depends on what you are used to! We are used to swimming in the Maine oceans, so our family has happily enjoyed the water parks in November, December and January. This year we will be there in the end of February and I expect to enjoy them even more. If it's sunny with little wind, even a cool day will be fine since the water is heated. I think you will have a great time at either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach any time of year, unless you really need it to be hot and humid to enjoy the water. Also, the plus side is that if it isn't a picture perfect "beach" day, there will be fewer people to contend with. Enjoy!

We keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) . What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.

If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.

But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.
