Water Parks - Cabana rental questions

My family is planning on going to Blizzard Beach this June and I was thinking of splurging and getting a Cabana.

How far in advance should I call to reserve it? (I don't see a place for this online so I'm assuming I have to call?) This will be during the week so I'm thinking I can do it a few weeks out. We'll also be coming in around late morning and staying til near close - Do I have to rent for the day or by the hour?

You rent them by the day. It was a great splurge my family loved it.

If you decide the price is too much for the time you're going, the umbrellas are a great compromise IMO. We've done those at both TL and BB and really liked them.

The Beachcomber Shacks at TL are around $320 plus tax and fit up to 6, not sure what the polar patios cost at BB. The umbrellas with the lounge chairs at both parks are only $50ish if I remember correctly.

Thank You very much!! I was reading about all they offer are the towels rentals or ones you get to keep? Either way a nice added if staying for the day.

I was all ready to book a cabana at Blizzard Beach until I saw that the "patios" are not completely covered. Was hoping for a completely covered in case of rain or afternoon showers and then a nice shaded spot for my two year old to nap. Now debating doing TL instead but really had my heart set on BB.
