We're going in February '07 (hopefully) and my husband is not a theme park fan, but he loves the Disney water parks, and that it his one big attraction to even going back to Disney at all, but I know they're closed certain times of the year. Does anyone know when? Also, I've only been to one water park (the one attached to FW) has anyone ever been? They look really fun, and very Disney-esq, and I've always wanted to go, but can you spend a whole day there? Or is it more of a half-a-day kind of thing? Plus we'll have a toddler and a baby with us, how age appropriate are Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach? Sorry for all the questions, but I know a lot about the rest of Disney, and not so much about the water parks. Thanks :cool1:

When one of the water parks is closed for refurbishment (usually in fall or winter, the other is open, and they are both have great kids area for toddlers. You can't go wrong with Typhoon Lagoon OR Blizzard Beach. Yes, you can certainly spend the whole day sliding and having a great time. :goodvibes

As clera said one is always open in the winter. If your dh loves water parks why not try them both out if they are open so therefore it may make his enjoyment of WDW better so you can plan another trip. :thumbsup2 I am so devious. :rotfl2: Have fun planning.

The one that was near FW is no longer in operation. It is very easy to spend the whole day in each of the water parks and there is plenty to do with a toddler. Enjoy.

Unfortunately, when you go to Florida in February, you can't be guarenteed to have swimming weather. Sometimes it's only in the 60's during the day.
