We will be going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time in June. I have bought a water wallet from the DIS store. Our tickets are the paper kind, not plastic. How do you keep your paper tickets dry and safe? Is the water wallet really waterproof? Looking for good ideas, please.

Thanks!

Good questions-

I'd love to know where else a "water wallet" could be found?
Walmart, Target, sears ???

you can also purchase the "water wallets" at both of the water parks and I believe most of the poolside shops at the resorts as well. I have one and, yes, they work!

I bought one at YC & was not impressed. If you don't want to ruin your tickets, you might double protect them with a small zip-lock bag.

I thought about the ziploc bag. I just can't decide what to do. We don't really need a locker. We will be taking a cooler along and will be driving to Typhoon Lagoon, I hope. Any other ideas?

My water wallet worked that I bought from TL without any problems. If your ticket gets wet somehow, all you have to do is take it to any guest relation area at the theme parks and they will give you a replacement. That happened to me last year (it was my fault because I put my watch in the wallet too and the strap got caught when I closed it and I didn't realize until it was too late LOL). The worst was I had to stand in line for 5 minutes to have it replaced at the MK guest relations area.

We bought a water wallet at BB on Monday. They tell you when you buy it that it's not 100% waterproof so we left ours in the ziplock bag we had. But no water got in it and I feel I would have been fine if I hadn't used the baggie. We only did slides - no actual "swimming" so that might make a difference.

They had various sizes - some where literally just big enough for a ticket and credit cards, some where sunglasses size and the one we got was Juuuuusssst right:p ! It was about the size of a cigarette pack and we kept tickets and money in it. Ours was $6, the smaller one was $5 and I didn't look at the Papa Bear size one!!

Thanks. I think I'm going to put the tickets in a ziploc bag and then put them in the DIS water wallet. I don't think we will be doing much swimming either. Hopefully, they will be fine.
