Water park plus option

Does anyone add this to their ticket? I haven't decided whether or not to add this on...is it worth it? how many days would I get? We have an 8 day hopper pass and I'm not sure how much time we would have to use it but my kids loved the wave pool at TL.

Depends on a what time of year you go. We're going in a couple of days. This time of year there is plenty of time to do the water parks and a theme park because the theme parks are still open to 10:00 pm. and since it's really hot during the day (projected to be in the 90's next week) we go to the water parks in the morning/early afternoon, come back to the resort, chill out, clean up and then head to a theme park. I always get the option especially since it also gives you the option of doing DTD and Disney quest.

If all you are going to do is the water park one day, check the prices. I know for our family of four we would be using the water park maybe one day and single day admission would be cheaper than adding the water park option. That way if we run out of time, we did not spend money on something we won't be using.

We chose to get 7 day park hoppers, water parks and more (6 +'s), and no expiration. Our accomodations are for 6 nights and we had planned all along to only visit the theme parks 3 or 4 days and save the other ticket days for another time, and relax enjoying DTD and the resort pools(POR).

The goal we set for ourselves (and our twin DD4) was to have a good time without pushing a park every day. We had not even planned on using any + options this time, but since we are going to MNSSHP we are tiring out the girls through lunch at BB in order to rest in the afternoon for the party.

Bottom line is that we will be back (hence no expirataion). Adding the water park and more option was so cheap on a per visit basis (about $7.25 per person per visit) to add it to the package we already decided on, and I know the kids will love it. Next time only one ticket to buy with accomodations for our now 18 mth DS.

Planning ahead this allow us to use these tickets for two more visits utilizing the tickets for 2 theme parks, 2(or 3) water parks. This will allow us 2 more week vacations to WDW with maybe a day at Sea World/Busch Gardens Tampa/Universal Studios (or other attraction.)

Anyway that i smy logic. Sorry for being so long winded.

Oh, and we have family in the area so thats how we know we will be back (just more justification).

Our family bought the 10 day hopper with water park options - non-expiring - so that we can use the tickets for multiple trips. We are going next month, so it will still be warm enough for the waterparks. With the 10 day tickets, you get 6 days of water parks, so we figure these 16 days at Disney can last us a while. With the ticket prices continuing to rise, it just seemed like the smart thing for us to do, since we are Disney regulars.

Last Oct. we had 10 day no expiration, but used the balance of our park days in January...If I had just added the water park plus, we would probably have a day or two left on the passes with using the water parks and disney quest. We are going back this oct...with a 10 day...so you really get a full 6 days extra with the water parks and disney quest option ( extra days non parks?)? That would have been a great deal for us as we have been back to florida 4 times since last fall....I just want to make sure so I can think about adding it this time..thanks :sunny:

I got it with my Fl. PAP's. We love the water parks, almost as much as the 4 theme parks.

The boys (23, 22 and 10) really love the waterparks. They favor Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach.

We loved going to the water parks, but growing up we only went to WDW in the summer, so the water park was perfect mid week for those hot days.
