Water Park closures

Last month I found that Typhoon would be the first to close this year for refurbs (nov/dec) meaning that it would be TL open in Jan / Feb (we go to WDW in Jan).

BUT... I've just been on the WDW website where it now says BB will be the first to close (End Oct / Nov / Dec) meaning it should be open Jan / Feb.

Am I just being stupid or have Disney changed the water park closures since they were first announced? I really really want to go to BB in Jan and not TL.

Thanks princess:

Hi,

I'm afraid they did change their collective minds, and BB will be closing first again.

Thats great news. I was gutted when I found out BB would be closed in January, its one of my fave days at Disney.

Now we can go to BB as originally planned :thumbsup2

Just one word of warning though...January is not optimal swimming weather at WDW. I see you usually go in the summer months.

In January you could have warm days with cool mornings, but you could also have some mornings near freezing with afternoon highs near 50F/9C.

The water is heated, but the air is not!

Enjoy,

Yipee! :cheer2: I was planning on TL, but then I saw that it would be closed for our October trip. BB was fine, but I really wanted to go to TL!

We were planning on checking out BB, but are just as happy with TL. TL is a bit milder and "nicer" to someone, like myself, with back problems.
