Well, darnit anyway. It appears I have a leak in my water lines somewhere. Not surprised as I did a half-baked job of winterizing. (long story). Ugh. I thought things all seemed good over the few days I have spent getting ready. Now I have to pray that the local dealer can get me in. The water pump won't cycle off and when I look under the RV, I see little drips of water coming from under the shower I think. So, that stinks. Please cross your fingers that this isn't a huge problem and that we can get it fixed in time for our trip. Thanks all.

If the dealer "takes his time", these line leaks arent that hard to fix,if u are a little handy. With a camper u will learn to have to be. Also post your problem on rv.net, lots of knowledge there,on how to.:confused3

RV plumbing isnt all that complicated, its just a little tough to get to at times. If its bad enough that your pump wont stop cycling I would assume it wont build pressure enough to shut off, that would indicate an easy to find leak IMHO.

I agree...

If your rv is plastic pipe..(which prolly is) it could just be a seperated fitting...

Take a little vaseline and apply to the fitting and reassemble....

Could save ya a few beer bucks...:drinking1

Think you can, at least, isolate where the leak is? You shouldn't need the plumbing between the fresh water tank and the pump when at FW or anywhere else with hookups. With any luck, the leak is between there and you can just close the valve from the freshwater tank into the pump and leave the pump off if you can't get it fixed soon enough. Otherwise, if you can find the leak, you may be able to fix it yourself fairly easy or at least put a temp repair on it.

Thanks everyone. One thing I did notice last night was that when I was driving it back to the barn, I was leaking a trail of water. The tank drain was open (forgot about that). So, maybe and it's a big maybe things might not be too bad. The only thing that leads me to think that maybe it is a leak is that dripping on the other side of the motorhome out the bottom (under where the shower is). I'm going to check it out tonight and add some more water and see what happens. Still think it's probably bad news, but there is a chance. LOL Unfortunately it is located behind the shower where there is no access door (even the dealer had to call the manufacturer to see how to access it). So, I know I can't get to it. LOL

Thanks for all of your advice. :)

I believe I DON"T have a leak. :) That open drain seems to have been the problem (I hope anyway). Filled up the tank a bit and ran the faucets (all of them at different times). Pump turned on, cycled and went off each time. :) No water was coming out the other side either so I am hoping that it was just an overflow type thing??? I am still keeping my appointment with service in case something else comes up before then and then will cancel a couple days before if not. Thanks for the advice and for crossing your fingers and toes for me. :)
