Water filter recommendations?

While my visit is still more than 3 months away, I'm pretty much done with the basic trip planning and now need to keep myself busy with minor things :-)

I'm a big tea drinker, so I was thinking next time I could take with me my favorite tea to put in my owners locker. However, I'm sure the tea will taste very different with the strongly chlorinated water I have experienced at WDW before, maybe a water filter could be a good idea.

Is anyone else using water filters, which ones can you recommend? Maybe one which is available locally, so I don't have to take it all the way from home.

Is it a problem to store it for a longer period in the owners locker?

Walmart has a nice selection of water filter pitchers. They are easy to use and should do a fine job. I am not sure about storing it long term. The filter will be wet so plan to replace it every trip no matter which brand you get. It would be almost impossible to completely dry it out. Keep an eye on your sunday paper they have coupons for the water pitchers and filters all of the time.

I have a Brita water pitcher (slim) in my owner's locker. I don't have any problems storing the filter. The day before we leave I remover the filter and let it dry. I wrap it in a paper towel to store in the OL and it works fine but I do keep a spare filter too.
