Do they still sell water bottle lanyards at Disney? I'm looking for the kind you can use with disposable water bottles. I'm having a hard time finding them at home for our trip. And---well, let's face it---I'd rather have a Disney themed one than a plain one! :goodvibes

I have one! But I cannot say whether they still sell them. Got mine from a drink stand near the information board at DHS.

I'm pretty sure they still have them at WDW. But FYI, I just picked up a water bottle "clip" at Office Depot (of all places!) last week. It's not a lanyard, but the kind that clips to a belt loop. It was only about $3.

I prefer this kind to the lanyard kind. You can clip it to a belt loop, backpack, fanny pack, etc.

It's been several years ago, but I bought a clip like that at wdw, and the rubber part is a Mickey head. :) Before that, for years I used the lanyard I bought at wdw, and do much prefer the clip. ::yes::

see them all the time at the drink carts/stands as a pp mentioned you won't have a problem finding them at WDW

Yep, they were there just six months ago on my last trip but over the years we have moved on and found that the the things sold in outdoor places and Walmart are more practical.

Look out for those neaprene bottle carriers that come with a metal carabiner clip. They not only keep your drink cooler for longer and stop cold bottles rubbing your arms but they can be clipped to everying from belts to bags, fanny packs and rucksacks. You should be able to find then for a few bucks.

You can personalise them by adding your own Disney pins to the neoprene part if you need to fly the flag with item that you carry. Go well. Varkie

Walmart on 27 near 192 sells these for $4 one has Mickey on it and the other Minnie

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to keep my eye out for a caribiner type clip on kind instead of lanyard ones. I think I'm going to order my kids autograph book bags from etsy and they can clip their water to it!

I saw some today -- the lanyard type-- on disney's website.

go to disney shopping and then click on the sale link. I think they were $7

I made my own crossbody water bottle strap for our last trip and I love it. I is much easier for me to carry than a laynard type(no pulling on my neck). I made mine from fabric, but you could make one from some mesh strapping and velcro just as easily.

The etsy holder is cute!

I've officially decided to use the carabiner type of water bottle holder and we can clip it to our bags. If I can find them at home I'll buy them. If not I'll buy the adorable Mickey Mouse ones when we get there! My bag is crossbody style and I don't think I will want a water bottle lanyard around my neck too.

Got mine in the outdoor/hunting area of walmart.
