Watching "Wishes" from Ohana

Is it possible to watch the Wishes fireworks show while eating at Ohana? Do they patch in the music? If so, what time is best to make an advance reservation for?

I made my first ADR for Ohana at 6:30pm...I was told this was a good time b/c when you got there you could request a window table and be able to wait for one and by the time you were seated and eating you would be able to see Wishes, which is said to start at 8:30 (but it can be pushed back to 9)...anyhow, that's what I'm banking on!!! It's the second day of my honeymoon and I think fireworks will be very fitting!!!

it's possible. however we went in Jan and i was dying to do this.planned it all out and made the adr for about 1+ hr pre show and just barely got a seat at a table we could not see from( if i literally laid on the table top i could see alittle, husband could not see a thing). the hostess said at that time of yr, usually the first seating doesn't leave till the fireworks are over so you need to get a seating as soon as they open. now if they are later ( think they were around 7 or 7"30 when we went) maybe your chances would be better or they could be worse in other words , don't have your heart set on it in case it doesnt work out

Yes - they patch in the music. I would estimate scheduling an ADR for about 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the fireworks.

Sometimes the music doesn't work. We have been there a couple of times when they couldn't turn on the music because something wasn't working properly.

Last May we were lucky enough to get a perfect window seat. I'm hoping for the same when we go this May. Our ADR's were for 8:00 p.m. because Wishes was scheduled to begin at 9:00. However, Wishes didn't begin until 10 so we had a little wait between dinner and the show. Wishes was Wonderful!!!! This year I made our ADR's for 8:30 just in case.

Wishes was at 9 (sometimes 10) each night we were there 3/14-22.

I'm not sure how daylight saving will effect the show.
