What is the best local weather station for Disney World?

There isn't one. Everybody has a favorite but in reality they are all equally wrong. Just go to www.weather.com and enter Walt Disney World for as good a forecast as you're going to get. Even then, rely only on what they show is going to happen in the next 24 hours. Use the rest of it as an indication of the range you might encounter.

You may be right! We get there at the height of the season. we arrive on September 16th and stay a week. I'm holding my breathe.

I am suddenly reminded of the old show WKRP in Cincinnati with their Eyewitness Weather. "I look out the window and I witness the weather."

Way too early to tell at this point. This time of year, it is important to keep an eye on weather systems though. It will probably be nothing since I will not be there when you are. The last two Aug trips I went, FL was in the path of a hurricane both times!

Same here. Have gone the last week I. August for the past 2 years. Both times they were expecting a hurricane, but the weather actually turned out nicest on those days (less rain than typical August day). I'm hoping my luck holds out this year.
