Has anyone been in this restaurant while the show was going on? Could you see it from your table? IF so are all seats good inside the restaurant?

No, you cannot see the show at all for here. I don't know if it is officially in a "basement" but that is how it felt to me and there were no windows.

Maybe you are thinking of a different place?

Thanks, any suggstions on where we can watch the show from inside a restaurant?

Rose and Crown in England has some table with an Illuminations view, but they are not guaranteed.

The only sit down place to eat in Epcot to watch IllumiNations is Rose and Crown. Try to check in earlier than your reservations and request an outside table by the water (there are also outside tables on the side of R&C but you probably cannot see IllumiNations from there). You are not guaranteed a seat but there is a good chance you will get one if you wait a bit. I believe if you eat inside the Rose and Crown there is a separate area you can go outside and watch. The past three times we have eaten there we have had 7:30 reservations and we are usually having coffee and desert while IllumiNations is going on. There are umbrellas outside but they close these for the show.

To the left of R&C is a garden area with tables and chairs that you can get counter service food and sit and watch the show also but this area fills up fast.

The only other place you can eat and watch the show is the counter service in Mexico - but you need to get there early as tables go quickly. You can get counter service and watch IllumiNations.

Anybody have any suggestions for viewing Illuninations close to LeCellier. Have a 6:10 ADR but concerned if we run late where we will be able to see well.

We had lunch at Nine Dragons and sat near the windows. I seemed to remember being able to see the lagoon - some trees in the way but could still see OK - would that not also be a possibility for viewing?? Not sure as it was lunchtime when we were there. :confused3

Illuminations is not until 9om so you should definatly have PLENTY of time to find a space. Even if dinner takes 2 hours ( which it porbably wont) then you will still have almost an hour to wait. You can also try showing up for your adr at Le Cellier 10 or 15 min earlier if you think you will be pushing it for some reason.

Thanks for the info about the courtyard. We have never sat there but I am glad to find out you can see IllumiNations from here. Maybe for our next trip.

You could see a bit of Illuminations from Chefs de France, if you were sitting in the porch area (all windows).

a few tables at bistro de paris offer a view of illuminations. as does the terrace outside the teppanyaki dining room in japan.
