Watch your hotel bills, Sapphire Falls issues

2 rooms at Sapphire Falls for 2 nights earlier this month and both rooms had mysterious “in-room dining” charges of just under $10 added after check-out. 1 charge on one room, 2 on the other. Neither room did in-room dining or drank the $8 water bottle. Idk if this is a Sapphire Falls specific screw-up or a broader Lowes screw-up. Never had an issue before, have stayed a few times.

Billing fixed it without pushing back for Room 1, pending on Room 2.

We don't drive in the USA and didn't have a car
 
Portofino tried to charge me for parking during my trip a couple weeks ago...only problem was I did not have a car on this trip. They fixed it right away and tried to blame the fact that I've had a car in the past.
 
We've just returned from Sapphire Falls and had so many issues with billing and the front desk that I would never stay there again. After we checked in I got an email that our reservations had been updated and the rate for the rooms we booked inexplicably increased for every night. It took us four days of visiting the front desk every day to finally get it resolved AND we were double charged for valet (charged to both rooms even though we only had one car). We ended up checking out a day early because we were just over it -- I understand that issues arise but we spent several hours trying to resolve it only to find out the following day that there was another problem with the folio.
