Good morning ladies~
So glad the weekend is over....it was a tough one! Keli, I was the same way this weekend...if the food was not nailed down or out of my sight, it was in my mouth. :)

Okay, but it is Monday & we can do this!! Let's just try to stay focused on our end goals and keep a positive attitude.

My goal for this week is to drink water, stay away from sugar, control my portions & write down everything that I eat. I think I've got the exercise thing down, just need to work on the nutrition & portions.

We were going to have a "pot" to win at the end but I think that fell off the wagon with a few of us and now we are mainly here for support !

OK, so I am doing Low Carb, and have not fallen off the wagon per-say, as I have not eaten any bad carbs.... but have kind of stalled, and like I said, feel a little better, so now is the time I say, well, I did something, and I am better than before... so why continue??? The answer??? $$$$$$$ Just Kidding!:love:

I'm still good for $10. We don't need to collect it until July, doncha think?

My goal for this week is to see 183- come hell or high water. If I have to spend all day on my darn elliptical (really- I wish I had a treadmill or a stairstepper or something MORE to use!) then that's what I'll do!!! On top of that, I want to see 600 minutes with the exercise challenge- that will put me to 1/2 of my goal for the MONTH!

Water- like I said, if you have one of the huge jugs, put it on your DESK. That way, you'll sip water all day. I usually drink 1-2 gallons of water during the weekdays- but that's because the jug is sitting here- just looking at me so I'm guilted into drinking it. Otherwise, I HATE water! BLAH!

What a quiet day! I actually have to work when no one is online talking...:) Today has gone pretty good. I had a really yummy salad for lunch, went for a walk during my break & haven't had any snacks all day. I feel pretty good, although I'm a bit tired today & have a little bit of a headache. The headache could be contributed to me not drinking any caffiene all day...I'm usually addicted. I need to drink more water though, I just don't get enough. Can't wait to get off of work in a couple hours & head to the gym for a little while.

Where's everyone at?
 
I did ok today! I had special k for breakfast with a cup of tea and then a salad for lunch. Of course I splurged on a little piece of baklava that they had in the office but I did not take the elevator all day!! I really need to get better with drinking water!! I think it is the nice weather I tend to eat less when it is nice out! Hope you all had a great day!
 
I'm here, I'm here. I've done my work-out so I'm at 500 for the month. Woo hoo! Foodwise, everything is going well too!~

Sounds like everyone did pretty good for the day yesterday. I did pretty well for the most part yesterday. I had a GREAT day until i got home and splurged on gummy bears and cake :confused3 But I did make up for it with a great dinner and a workout with my mom over at the gym.

I was on that darn elliptical for 23 minutes :lmao: That thing kicked my butt. I then walked on the treadmill for about 20+ minutes ( lost track of time).

Today I have a busy day but I plan on going back to the elliptical and working out more. I have a water aerobics class tonight that I really SHOULD go to but I am making the excuse that Dan might not make it home in time and that the teacher isn't my favorite.

I really just need to suck it up and go !! I only have a few more months left before FREE DINING !!! :yay:

Just getting to work this morning. Getting ready to eat a hard boiled egg & salsa for breakfast...I'm addicted to salsa :)

Didn't get much exercise in yesterday. I went for a 20 minute walk, but Mondays are super busy days for me so I have little time to do anything. Tonight I'm going to the gym for water aerobics & then hopefully I'll get about a half hour on the elliptical or bike.

I can't believe how close we are getting to our trip. It's so exciting! I really need to start losing some weight though...I want to look good for the trip & I really want to pull out some of my pre-baby shorts & tank tops.

I have a question--I've never been on the dining plan before so we usually only ate a little bit here & there while at WDW. For those who have been on the DDP what is the weight gain or loss you experienced? I'm just curious if I am going to gain a ton of weight when I get to WDW while eating on the plan. Guess I'm a little nervous now...
 
This will be my 3rd experience with the dining plan and between the heat and all the walking you do.. you shouldn't worry about it :cloud9: Enjoy yourself. The one thing we did change between our first and second trip was to use our snack credit for a muffin in the morning, eat lunch earlier in the day (11) and eat dinner around 5 or so which gave us time to burn it off before bedtime.

That's good advice. A couple of my dinner reservations are for 7:30, but that'll still give us time to walk around after dinner. I was just so worried that with the amount of food available on the plan I'd come back from my trip 20 pounds heavier...not what I want to happen, that would be scary! :)
 
We didn't have the DP on our honeymoon- but that didn't stop US from overindulging- constantly! LOL! I agree- don't worry about it. You get enough of a workout in the parks, so you won't gain. You just have to make sure that you don't carry OVER your eating habits once you leave WDW into real life!
 
Ok - so how is everyone doing today ?

I did my photoshoot this morning and now I am eating my lean cuisine. I think once Austin gets home from school we are all going to take a long walk with the dog.

That will get myself out and moving and then tonight maybe I will have another go at that elliptical.
