Watch Out People !! ~ BEWARE ~ Slim Mojito Monkey Partying People In Progress !!

OMGosh I have to say that your own personal website is so amazing. I love the baby sitting up and the newborn in the mesh. Very nice photos. Any chance on wanting to do a photo session with Kendyll in Disney???:rolleyes1

See, I asked her too! If she brought her equiptment, or sent it down, I think she could be MAKING money on this trip!;)

# one reason I want to be a looser:goodvibes it's to just feel better all around.

Haven't done to bad today...although I didn't manage to fit in a workout again. DH is working late and with me working today as well...I had to rush home for the kids. After all I can only leave them locked in the house alone for so long;)

Anywho...food intake has been good but it's still early. So far I'm well within my point limit though.

UGH! So I did so good today and tonight, I just ate a big thing of rice with soy sauce on it! The rice- not so bad, but not great in calories. The soy? All of that salt will make me retain water like crazy!!! But I'm HUNGRY! LOL!

I want to lose weight for me !! I want to stop shopping in the plus sizes and buy a wonderful sun dress that looks fabulous on me !!

I want to have just as much energy as both my children do !

I would like to jog with my husband without looking like a heaving mass of fat.

I want to get below 200 lbs and STAY there this time !!

I would like to lose weight so I look good around all my newly slim mojito friends at Pop !!

Those are all great reasons...I'm right there with you :)

contemplating on a scope of ice cream :confused3

Hi everyone! Glad to hear we are really doing this. All your posts keep me motivated! I am sticking to low carb for now, and (I know that I shouldn't but it also keeps me motivated one way or the other) since I weigh myself like constantly, see the scale dropping already! Yippiee! :cool1:

So, last night we went out and I had steak tips, chicken breast combo with a double order of carrots. I'm really not even sure what low carb is, besides I am cutting out bread, crackers, sugars, fruits, potatoes, is there anything else I should know about????:confused3 Guess I have to do some research, but any help I can get I am asking you for! Thanks!

Great Job ladies!:goodvibes

I am going to the gym today and will have my trainer do my measurements and my BMI. I have lost nearly 60lbs since Jan 2005:thumbsup2 but would LOVE to lose 25-30 by 8/30.

I will PM my results later today, I'm SO excited to join this group and attain my goal. All of your posts are super motivating and I look forward to all the hard work to come!

ps...I also think the $5 should go for drinks, but count me in regardless:banana:

This afternoon I worked on the spreadsheet I will be using to enter everyone's information into and keep track of it.

I decided it might be useful for all of us to use individually as well. You can keep your weight weekly or for those of us who weigh daily :lmao:

It doesn't matter as long as we watch those numbers go down.

To be able to use this spreadsheet you will need to have Microsoft Excel or a similar program.

When you follow the link, click on Save and pick the file you want it saved to. If you aren't familiar on how to do this - it is easiest to save it to your desktop and then move it to the folder you want it in.

Hope those who want to use it will find it useful !! :thumbsup2

http://www.loripadillaphotography.com/Disney Pictures/WeeklyWeighIn.xls :wizard:

I will host it on my website until everyone that needs it has downloaded it !

Thanks Lori.. that is a great spreed sheet, I am ready to rock !!

NOOOOOO CARROTS !! or corn. Those are both big no no's on the low carb diet. Just think GREEN.. you can have anything green and in the fruit catagory, any type of mellon or berry. I am doing the low carb also:hug: I did it two years ago and lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks.. 20 carbs a day for the first 2 weeks.

Yesterday I had:

Hard boiled egg @ 6:30 (get your metabolizem going)

Eggbeaters w/salsa & sausages @ 8:30

Southbeach Maple bar =snack

Marinated chicken thighs x 2 small salad w/ranch @ 12:30

Steak & Asparagas w/baslamic vinagerette baked @ 5:00

Sugarfree jello w/coolwhip

Under 20 carbs:banana:

They have these GREAT IceCream Bars called "Skinny Cow" at the grocery store. only 2 points on weight watcher:woohoo: they are YUMMY !!

Good morning~I didn't get much of a chance to post yesterday. We had a really scary incident at work and had to evacuate our campus (I work for Portland Community College) so I wasn't near a computer for most of the day.

I did pretty good yesterday. We drove to the Oregon coast, which was a fun drive. Had dinner at the coast (salmon & a salad) and had 2 hard-boiled eggs for breakfast yesterday. Realized that I skipped lunch but I think that lunch occured during the evacuation at work so I didn't even think about it.

I'm off of work today so I'm hoping to get to the gym in the next hour or so. I'm going to try & get at least 60 minutes in.

I'm thinking about doing a low-carb diet but not sure yet. My DH eats whatever he wants & I'm afraid trying to do low-carb in the same house as him will be very hard for me. It seems like the best way to lose a large amount of weight though.

Crap, I screwed up already! Thanks for the tips though. Keep em' coming!

So far, coffee with cream, and cheese and turkey pepperoni.

You didn't screw up as much as me ;) I had a Blizzard from DQ last night. Okay, okay- I know- bad, bad, bad- but we only manage to get DQ like once every 4-5 MONTHS! (It's no where near the house and no one ever wants to drive 40 minutes to get ice cream and bring it home!).

Today is another day though!

So today and tomorrow- they are REALLY important days, ladies, for our weigh-in on Friday!!! So no matter what- STICK WITH IT through today and tomorrow and the scale SHOULD reward you!!! (And if it doesn't- you'll get rewarded next week :rotfl: )

Already worked out today. Gotta go take a shower!@

Good girl  Cream or Half/half.. not milk

you are right, it is best to do what works for you.. my DH also eats whatever he wants :sad2: and is skinny.. stinks don't it

Yup, heavy cream. I bought it to cook with, but hey, this works too, since now I can't have the pasta I was going to cook it with!

I bought non dairy creamer yesterday too. I remember that being on south beach when i did that.

NOOOOOO CARROTS !! or corn.

Not doing low carb, but lower carb...carrots are a good carb! Corn and peas, not so much. But carrots are better than bread.

I'm doing great! I had a bite of a mozzerella stick:sick: last night, but I'm good. Whoever said that 2 day thing is brilliant...it really helps!

Yesterday I had yogurt for b-fast, trail mix (7 almonds-sliced, 2 tbsp raisins, and 1/2 banana's worth of dried banana), Healthy Choice lunch, 7 carrot sticks, 1 cup lettuce (with lt. dressing), protein bar, some more dried bananas, Lean Pocket, another protein bar.

Today I'm down a pound!

I'm confused about this...what's the reasoning behind why cream is better than milk? :confused3 Just curious :goodvibes

Okay, when I get home I'll add my weight loss ticker, now I lost 13 pounds already before hooking up with you guys, and mine has my weight on it, not weight change like you guys. Don't think I'm a skinny minnie--I'm only 5'1 and 3/4", so I need to be much less than I am where someone 4 inches taller than me could weigh 20 pounds more and be okay.
