watch out for snakes!

In April and May and staying at 2 different resorts. We saw a small King Snake at AKL around 10pm near the pool area by the walkway to the door. I am sure big Momma was around. The next was at Pop and this was again near the pool another king snake this was well over 2 feet long. Please be careful and pay attention where you walk as Florida has lots of posionious snakes.

Yeah, in the South snakes and other repitles are pretty common even in WDW!

I SO did not need to read this post! ha. However I remember when we were at CBR 2 years ago we saw a couple of those black snakes. We have them at home so I'm kinda used to seeing them but I still freak out.

And rats, watch out for rats when you are walking in the dark...especially around resorts that have a lot of foliage and trees etc

Cool. It was make my DS13 so happy to see one. He's always looked for them but never seen any.

He knows the rule - look but don't touch and stay a safe distance away from them.

Be nice to those black snakes. We live in north
Georgia (moccasins, and copperheads!) We have
quite a few of those black snakes - some really big!
I have heard that they keep the bad snakes away, and
I believe it, as they are the only ones I ever see.
We have a pond and lots of woods - perfect for bad
snakes!

We saw a snack at the wilderness lodge on the path to the boat doc. Not sure what kind it was, moseyed along and we watched it. It kind of added to the atmosphere.

We were at AKL end of April/beginning of May and thank god we didn't see them. DW wouldn't have come out of the room after that.

Oooohh nooooo, here we go again! I didn't need to read this before our trip to WL in June. I'm petrified of snakes!!!Oh please, oh please, I hope I don't encountered one on our vacation. If I happen to come across one , I will freak!!!

Oh yes...we did in fact just return from DW this Sunday and we saw two snakes One was coming through the boards on the Boardwalk and the other was in Epcot wiggling its way through the street. Eeeeekkkk and it was at night after the fireworks. We almost didn't see it!!! We are from up North so are very unfamiliar with them. I just heard one man say to stay far, far away and trust me we did just that!
