Watch out Dumbo, There's a bigger Circus coming to Town...Triplets take on the World

Your pictures are great. I don't like to be scared...so I would NOT have trick or treated at your house!!! :scared1:

Yes, it took me a few minutes to find Stevie in that stuff too...so funny! He is hilarious! :lmao:

HA!!! sorry they don't let anyone free of the scares!

Stevie has become the comic of the house... he has also become a BEGGAR!!! He can't figure out how to get up on the couch (just inside it) so he BEGS for food now!!! if you ignore him he scratches the couch... this little B. knows my buttons!!!!

Hi, Mo; I'm still here, just super busy.

:cool1::cool1::cool1: on the lottery win.

Love the hat pictures while waiting for grandma at the store.

Great pumpkin carving photos.

Was that snow not unreal the other day? It is way too cold this early...it's not even officially winter yet.

I've been trying to post here all day and I keep getting interrupted!

:cool1: Yay! on the lottery win! I usually only win $1 and then forget to take the ticket to cash it in. I know I wouldn't forget $100 pixiedust:

You must have the coolest house on the street at Halloween! My youngest ds definitely would not have gone anywhere near it when he was little, but his little sister definitely would love it, the scarier the better for her.

The pumpkin carving pictures are great! We didn't carve pumpkins this year.

Glad to see your stowaway did not get packed up. You will have to watch when you pack up the Christmas decorations too.

I have an idea for your surprise package too, but I'll keep it until later.....

Oh Stevie :) Can't wait to meet him!
See...I would not like your house on Halloween. Too scary for me. I would walk right by...on the other side of the street.

Replies in a second...

I have never posted a video off of Photobucket so lets try this:
when shopping with the kids we had to stop off at Petsmart to get Stinky Stevie some food. Ya know i have to feed him once in a while.. The kids wanted to buy a laster pointer.. this is the result...

i guess you click the picture and it takes you to the video??

it's not for cats people... Stevie could care LESS about the laser. My poor Floors and Carpet which as you can see ended up in the kitchen...

Reminder:

Mo, I'm on the train and :rotfl2:. That was hysterical. Markie used to do that with Cookie all the time when they were both younger.

Hahaha!!!!

FYI... Lazers/flashlights are banned in my house...

Josh came home from work one day, telling a story of a co-worker who's DH had played "lazer tag" with their Golden Retreiver... When they finished playing in their hard-wood floored livingroom, the DH shut off the light and went to bed. The next morning - they woke to find a GIANT hole chewed/clawed into the livingroom floor - where the Golden had spend the night trying to "get the light" the last place he saw it.

Josh thought this story was funny. He thought he would do the same thing to MM... The result... My livingroom carpet is TRASHED...

20131114_071753-1.jpg

BANNED - totally from my house!

Even this morning - Alli turned on a flashlight so I could look at her throat... MM went CRAZY!!!!!! Sigh... It's a sickness.

I cannot agree more.. People need that transition a little slower... CLEARLY they cannot drive and the amount of accidents this past couple of weeks has been HORRENDOUS!

I've been trying to post here all day and I keep getting interrupted!

:mic: WHAT??? Don't they understand that the DIS takes presidence over ALL?

:cool1: Yay! on the lottery win! I usually only win $1 and then forget to take the ticket to cash it in. I know I wouldn't forget $100 pixiedust:

Thank you!!! it's wonderful to win a bit of money. then spend it faster then you won it.. On the kids of course... well i am sure if you keep all the 1.00 winners you probably have a bit of money there!!! GO COUNT IT! :thumbsup2

It's pretty cool.. people do come just to see what we do next. i would help the little ones who are scared. the boys would show them that they are real kids so they wouldn't have nightmares for a week.. I know how that goes!

The pumpkin carving pictures are great! We didn't carve pumpkins this year.

Come on over next year!

Glad to see your stowaway did not get packed up. You will have to watch when you pack up the Christmas decorations too.

OH i didn't think of that... I have A TON more Christmas decorations then i do on Halloween... I AM SCARED to death when i get the tree.. I am positive i will have stories about Stevie V/S the tree... :crazy2:

I have an idea for your surprise package too, but I'll keep it until later.....

I'd kill the dog... But i can relate tell you a story in a second..

Josh thought this story was funny. He thought he would do the same thing to MM... The result... My livingroom carpet is TRASHED...

OK here is the story:
as you know about the being pretty new.. like 4 years new.
I have a friend/Brother (known him since birth) who found a laser in my house and started it with the dogs. Mostly Lex. Well my walls look like a zombie apocalypse happened.. I have scratches holes bite marks ALL over my house from this. Since then i have hid/threw away ALL laser pointers... UNTIL NOW... regardless it is comical. and it take a bit of Spackle and paint right?!? My entire house needs to be painted... :rolleyes2

BANNED - totally from my house!

Even this morning - Alli turned on a flashlight so I could look at her throat... MM went CRAZY!!!!!! Sigh... It's a sickness.

D~

HA HA HA HA HA POOR MOOSE!!! Is he still staring at the wall? Becuase Lex and Logan are... still... looking...

Poor Alli i hope she feels better!!!!

holy cow.
Well if my life wasn't hectic enough i have grown adults acting like MORONS!
Sorry i need to let this out and here is the only place i can.
I am the Volleyball Coordinator for the school.. No Biggie right? Piece of cake..

yeah right.

Last year there was not one issue.. this year? not so much.
registrations are supposed to be in JULY when your registering the kids for school. did they? NO
They did another registration in Sept. mostly for football/cheerleading BUT was said for volleyball/basketball. there wasn't enough girls for some of the teams. we opened up the registrations for two days back in early October.
still not enough.
opened it up again early this month made sure CCD was told. then opened it for 3rd graders.
8th grade has a team of 9
7th grade has a team of 6
6th grade has a team of 8
5th grade has a team of 7
4th grade has a team of 15

Then two girls quit the 7th grade. the coach is the SAME (insert very bad words here) i was in the fender bender back in May? i wrote about it in the other PTR. I guess she didn't the millions out of my insurance co. so is PERSONALLY suing me!!! YES!!! i was served with papers and everything!
The cop who served me even laughed it off and said to call my insurance co. which of course i ran into the house to do just that! As i was dialing the number i see the mail and there is an envelop from the insurance co telling me to disregard ANYTHING from this psycho. I called them anyhow. they said the same thing. they had taken care of the issue they will not be getting any more money.
Now this crazy person talks to me like there is nothing wrong.
-freak-
She is lucky i have to be good since it is volleyball season. But i would so like to... well use your imagination. remember i am a south side Irish girl from Chicago. :furious:

SO

Now i have a problem... I have a team with only 4 girls.....
I have no choice but to combine. I cannot combine them with the 8th grade. We always keep 8th grade special. it's their last year. they buy their own uniforms with their names on them.. It's kinda a big deal.. I sit the the V.P. of the athletics association make things right.
SO i have to put the 7th with the 6th. the 6th grade team is pretty good. The coaches are good. Now the 6th grade coaches are mad... I need to make it up to the coaches and the girls who really are getting the shaft in this deal. Making it up to them entering the 6th grade in a tournament by themselves, and added them to another league by themselves! Which pacified the coaches and made the girls happy. the girls did NOT want to play with the 7th grade. :faint:
Good everything is done and everyone happy!
Gym picks night. I cannot be there as i am working job #2. someone has my schedule.
GOOF decides to put practices on the NIGHT I AM WORKING! :rolleyes2
OK i can fix this not a big deal... I call the 6th grade coach and ask if they would switch with me. Ya know what she tells me??? She had to ask the 7th grade beast coach!!! Umm NO YOU DON'T!!! that is your team. ugh.
Last night Meg has girl scouts. The 6th grade had practice told her i was going to meet them there 1. to talk about the tournament i want to enter them. 2. talk about how the coaching is going to be.
I pick Meg up from scouts, lo and behold the best is there coaching the 6th grade! WTH?!?! geez. I bring the 6th grade coaches in another room talk about the tournament. They tell me how she has taken over the entire 6th & 7th grade practices they are all practicing all together. umm NO. the 6th grade has their own time slots for practice as they are in one league by themselves and now a tournament. OK need to talk to the beast.
hey beast i need to talk to you.
I first talk abotu the things that matter like GETTING ALL HER DAMN PAPERWORK IN then have to tell her the 6th grade slot is for 6th grade practice. if she wants to practice with the 6th grade they will practice on the 7th grade day practice slots. COME ON how hard IS THIS? oh that's right she is on a power trip... COME ON! This is for the kids. This is NOT a popularity contest ~which if you are taking notes you lost since you just had 2 girls QUIT on you!~ 2. IT IS ABOUT THE KIDS!!!
my phone has been on OVERTIME with all the text/phone calls etc.. INSANE!!
I believe all this NONSENSE is over now. the 6th grade will have their own time with their coaches. the 7th grade will practice with whatever girls show up. and the beast will call the 6th grade coaches when she wants to use them, :rolleyes2
so on to MY dilemma- did you read how many girls I HAVE ON ONE TEAM??? 15... Yes 15 screaming hyper girls. hopefully the people who said would help WILL and i can get a team together. I cannot have and A and B team right now. I would need more coaches.. that's not happening.
I am SURE there will be complaints "my kid isn't getting playing time" my kid this my kid that. well? my answer? I am one coach volunteering my time which is slim as it is. I can use your help if you would like???
Today is our first practice, then straight to dog training...
any advice is welcomed here... Pray for me please.

Now good news...

My good friend here at work bought my this little guy!

isn't he adorable?!?! He sits proudly on my desk here at work!

Then there is Stevie:

I cannot do anything without him trying to hide in some sort or container. This time the volleyball bag! :lmao:

Here's my advice for what its worth.

Have a mandatory meeting with all of the 4th grade parents. Tell them that there are too many girls on the team for everyone to get a lot of playing time. Ask if anyone is willing to help coach a) your team b) a second team of 4th graders (how many girls do you need on a team?) Tell them that without more help, you cannot guarantee enough playing time for everyone. You are only one person and cannot do it by yourself.

If no one is willing to commit to helping or coaching a 2nd team, tell them that you will not be listening to complaints either from the girls or from them. There is only so much you can do.

I had a similar situation when I was a girl scout leader and a boy scout leader at the same time. I also worked full time and was involved with band and the school plays. I was a single parent at the time, so I had limited time available. No one else would volunteer to take over the gs troop (the previous leaders left when their girls moved up) and I told the parents that I would do my best to see that the girls had a good year, but that my time was limited. I did get offers to help, but by January I was on overload, so I told them that I could not continue. Two other parents stepped up to take over.

Don't get yourself stressed over this Mo. There are other parents out there that can help. With 15 girls on one team, there has to be another willing parent or two.

I really like Tess' idea of a mandatory meeting... Hopefully it can be done and it will work. I also agree - you can't kill yourself over this, your time is extremely limited (still don't know how you do it?) - with all of your jobs and athletic commitments, not to mention your OWN CHILDREN... Helloooooo... You are spread sooo thin!

I love your little turkey guy! He is so cute!

And Stevie... ROFL... Do you go through the trash before you take it out? Just in case? LOL

D~

I will let you know how today goes! i am excited yet anxious about how this is going to go.
Only 6 girls on the court at a time 3 matches.

I can get them all in.. But do i want too?!?! :confused3
This is going to be FUN!!!

it's the 7th grade coach i am really having issues with.

MARCO

POLO. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sorry, I just had to with the nightmare you have to deal with.

And that woman...can you say PSYCHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha... I love you Kathy!!!

Marco....

I'm so behind and playing catch up! Pics from Halloween are so GREAT. Glad the midgets had fun with their tricks! Sounds AWESOME!

Congrats on the $100 scratch off...every little bit helps!

Stevie...:lmao::rotfl2: Love that little rodent. He cracks me up!

Sorry to hear about all your Volleyball stress. Sounds like someone needs to put that PSYCHO in her place...and also like someone needs to step up and help you with coaching! Good Luck Mo!

Oh man that is so crazy with the Volleyball stuff! I don't even know what to say about the whole thing.

Loved the video with the dogs and the laser pen! We used to have one for our dogs and as soon as I opened the drawer we kept it in they would all start looking at the floor. Unfortunately the battery died on it so we haven't had one in a while. I need to get a new one as I found it to be a great way to get them to burn off excess energy before bedtime!

Wow, that volleyball dilemma is a doozy! :scared: Sorry to say, I am no help. I am a basketball parent who will NEVER complain about my daughter's time on the court. We tell her all the time that she has to "serve her time" on the bench. When she gets good at it, she will get more time on the court. PERIOD. This is a great opportunity for parents to instill the ANTI-entitlement lesson into their kids! Will definitely pray for you this season! :goodvibes

That little turkey nut is adorable! Sounds like it came at just the right time as a little pic-me-up after a cruddy week!

Oh Stevie!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:
