Saturday was another great movie night. The food was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. But, the movie was Ratatouille, so the food was the star of the show for sure!

The girls and I spent most of the day Saturday cooking for it. Charity making filling for dessert:



A little side story to this picture to make you laugh. Charity made a HUGE mess making this filling. There was cocoa and powdered sugar and filling EVERYWHERE in her work area, and covering the mixer completely.

Another night of fun and mayhem had come to a close. We made some final plans on what time we wanted to leave, how we would work it all out logistically, etc. We decided to make the next movie night cheap and simple...but you will have to wait and see what the movie will be.

Can I just say that things are getting REAL up in here? We are checking on van rental prices, parking prices, working out what time we can leave, I picked up my Halloween costume today..REAL!!!!

I loved your movie night and I am still shocke at how much the girls have grown these last years - they are turning into beautiful young ladies.

That food was so incredibly delicious. I still sort of salivate when I scroll through the pictures.

Our next movie night will not be so elaborate. We opted to keep it simple and CHEAP next month!

Our movie nights with our friends are always such fun. In an effort to save some time, energy and $$$ for the cruise, next month's movie night will be a whole lot more simple....but still fun!

We have certainly had so much fun doing the movie nights with the Quackattack family! They have just brought so much more LIFE and hilarity to them. This may just be a tradition that lives on for a while...even after the cruise.

So, our official Fish Extender lists came out last week, and I was just a few gifts short for ladies and toddlers. My great friend Robin (KRDOTSON) was kind enough to offer to share some extras she had since we are not in the same gift exchange groups.

I got the package from her Wednesday...and she had sneaked in a few gifts for US! I promised her I would not post a picture of everything, because she sent gifts that she will be giving her FE group. Since I am certain that we have some cruise friends who lurk my report, we don't want to spoil HER surprises like I did mine. BUT, she did give me permission to share a picture of the gift she sent ME!



Isn't that absolutely adorable?? Not sure if she remembers or did it on purpose, but the gift tags I made for the gifts we are giving have this
"style" of Mickey and Minnie on them...same outfits, etc. So, THANK YOU SO MUCH, Robin, for the adorable journal and pen. I will certainly use the journal to take notes for my TR.

I feel like I rarely post on here these days. The thing is that planning/ purchasing was put on hold for a couple of weeks while we caught up from having to do a surprise repair on Brian's car to the tune of $400. We are back at it now, and plans are progressing. My costume, and Charity's, and Gabe's are completely ready, head to toe. I ordered Jillian's costume this morning. I have only to order one more element of Brian's costume and we will be good to go for Pirate night and Halloween costumes.

This Saturday the girls and I FINALLY get to go shopping for their formal night dresses. We are so excited about this. Quackattack is going to try to go with us if she and her DH do not work on their costumes that day.

And in other news, we had another countdown activity last night. Brian was busy with schoolwork, and was unable to participate. But he did kindly agree to photodocument for us. We played Disney Sculpterades!!

Yippee, skippy!!!! HAD to get on here and post my major SCORE for the cruise- got our Palo brunch ressies!!! Someone on our Facebook cruise page posted a cancellation, and I was able to snag it! Sad for them, though. They have a very sick kitty cat, and had to cancel their cruise. :-(



But we got PALO BRUNCH, finally!!!! I can officially stop stalking the reservations page now! ;-)

I disappeared from the DIS for about 5 months! I am happy to say that I am back!! I skimmed over your last 5 months worth of posts. Looks like you have been having loads of at home Disney fun.

I can't comment on everything, but just a few things...LOVE your FE gifts, can't believe Gabe is 8...OMG, and so happy to see that your trip is PAID OFF and you only have 45 ays to go! Can't wait to keep reading and read your TR when you return.
