Hello,
It will be Dd7 birthday whilst we are over there. We will be in MK for the day-where can we get her a nice Disney watch for her birthday, whislt in MK?.Do you have any prices?Any pics would be great as well.Thank you.x.

As you go up Main Street on the left are some shops that sell nice ornaments and jewelry. I am not sure of costs but they start quite low and can go quite high! What option is your DD selecting for her birthday gift from WDW?

Claire ;)

Best choice will be in the Main St store or at Downtown Disney store.
We have always bought watches from the outlet Disney stores had great ones less than half price.

World of Disney at DTD has a very large choice of watched to suit all pockets and tastes.

There is also a good choice at Mouse Gear in Epcot.

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2 .seems like my best bet would be to get the watch at DTD beforehand(we will be going there the Sat before her birthday)+not on the day in MK then :confused3 .I don't mind how much it costs-as long as it's one Dd likes, but would be a little annoyed if i could get exactly the same at DTD for a lesser price :goodvibes .

What about getting the back engraved-is that possible?.Where would do that?Any help,much appreciated-as always :thumbsup2 .x.

For our son's 7th birthday, we bought him a Sorcerer's Apprentice watch from DTD for about $25 (2003). We took the wrapping paper with us and secretly gave it to our waitress during character breakfast in Chef Mickeys's.She in turn ensured that Mickey himself presented the gift. To this day, he still believes that Mickey Mouse knew it was his birthday and bought him a gift!!:rotfl:

another option is the "art of disney" store in DTD. You can get a handpainted watch in there which you can customise. I cant remember the exact pricing but they are unique and special for a birthday gift

That is kind of her :) Don't forget to take her passport on the day as proof. I got quite alot of nice goodies with my gift card.

Claire ;)

You could have a wander over to the Contemporary Resort Michelle. There is a shop on the 4th floor concourse (right in front of the escalators) that had a nice selection of watches last year. In fact I think Dad bought his there.

They have watches in GF as well - some different to what is in the parks.

My Husband bought both of our DD's a tink watch whilst we were at the MK, they were $29.99 & $34.99. I'll try to take a photo later and then post it here for you :) About 4 day's later Disney reduced all watches by 25% :rolleyes1 (that's just our luck!!)

It will probably be a Tinkerbell one i will be looking for so i would love to see a picture :thumbsup2 .Where in the MK did you get it?.Shame about the price going down after you had bought them-i have good luck like that as well  .x.

The LaughingPlace Store have this Tinkerbell watch. I'm sure the Emporium at the bottom of Main Street would do these. Also looking at my Complete Walt Disney World 2009, under watches it lists Uptown Jewelers and Main Street Clothiers on Main Street USA.

I second this. I believe the Art of Disney at the Studios and Epcot do them too. I purchased some a couple of years ago, and they make really unique gifts.

I believe that DH bought them from Main St :thumbsup2

There are a lot of lovely watches. I got a great Stitch one at the outlet store. The hand painted ones were about $350 last trip, so I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.

Have you looked on Disney shopping US, you can customize your watch to a certain extent, with character and name. You could have it sent to your hotel.

Something like this was $30

Thanks Karen,they are lovely watches.x.

Aruna that watch is gorgeous,Dd would love that-can you not buy them in the shops?.I am not staying onsite to have it delivered to the hotel.
$350 is quite a bit too much-if she was older then maybe, but not something she's going to be wearing for school etc..x.

.

I've never seen them in the shops, but you can have them delivered to any US address, it doesn't have to be a disney hotel. Just put your name and then c/o your hotel. Otherwise I think you're meeting up with a couple of Dis'ers who are staying at Disney, maybe you could ask them to take delivery of it.
