I have a new passion in life! Watch collecting! Most of mine are cheap replicas/not worth much, but I do have a few nice ones. Things I cherish

I'm not collecting as an investment (can't afford to) just so I can wear a different watch each day and get pleasure out of them

Hmm. I've bought some cheapos. But apparently between one in 5 and one in 10 of them of this brand will fail in the first year. They're not for serious time mapping - just fashion wearing.

My husband and I are crazy about watches and have many. My latest purchase was the Pooh Citizen Eco-Drive that my husband bought for me when we were at Disneyland for Christmas. I love to wear a different watch every day.

Got my first few watches and I'm glad I did this If anything I'm a bit nervous. Always taking it off when I wash my hands as I'm terrified of getting them wet!

i do not collect watches but I do still have my childhood Cinderella watch as well as the figurine that came with it. the pink band is long gone (wore out in elementary school) but at over 60 years of age it continues to keep accurate time.

Should I take the plunge and get an Anthony James Moonphase watch? £40, got good reviews on Amazon, average on Trust Pilot. Not expecting much for the money.

"Henry" has been closing down for quite a while now - he advertises clearing out stock for his last 24 hours business. Con. And the watches? Not "Henry's" - they're cheapo replicas such as Lige. I've never had issues with mine, but I've not had them long! Oh, and one last point on Henry - his watches come from China when you track them - not his advertised London shop. OH AND THERE'S MORE - there's a "Harrison" pulling the same trick. Henry and Harrison are in all probability, AI generated.

Henry and Harrison. Both say they own a shop in London and that they're closing down tomorrow. They've been saying this for weeks, if not months. Both sell cheap Chinese knock-offs. Both ship from China. Both look remarkably similar...

Got three of the REAL cheapos today (as in an average of £10 each) - these:







Two are not too bad really, better than you'd expect… the middle one is so crummy it's not even worth wearing

Ah well… TBH, so far my experience with ultra-cheap watches has actually been a success!

I got this Soki "Submariner" several years ago, an actual automatic watch for $8...it was actually pretty decent until the crown broke, lol
