Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Well, I sure know how to clear out a room!

My kids just got off the bus, and they came running into the office, yammering about this and about that.

The oldest was studying something in science, and they had 5 cameleons their class had adopted. Now that the class doesn't need them anymore, the teacher is trying to get rid of them. A firm "absolutely not" to him, and he was out of here, "Oh, man!"'ing the whole way.

The little one started with a list of demands (not unusual), and I made him stop and asked him how his day was. He kept up with the demands. I ignored them and asked again. He growls at me, "It was sine!" (he has a hard time pronouncing F's). I ask him what he did. He just sighs and walks away.

Talking to your kids is now an effective way to get rid of them. Nice!

Wait til they arre teens! You take an interest and they think you are torturing them.

I figured it out but I haven't gone shopping yet.

Not sure if you will be able to find it in your area. It's very common here. Masa here refers to a cornmeal dough used for making tamales and tortillas and the like. Masa harina is a type of flour and all you do is add water to make the dough. You might be able to find it in your ethnic aisle where the Mexican and Asian foods are.

I made Tandoori spice for chicken tonight...then decided to make the pork chops instead.

Hell to the NO! I made the spice mix for one, but decided to do the 'tried and true' dinner instead. DH was already turning his nose up at the new one just because it was new. MEN!

Evening Ladies,

We had some sort of dinner. I didn't make it and that is all that counts.:thumbsup2

Yeah, I am not cooking tomorrow, Dorky. Have to drop off the van to get new tires. Current ones are getting bald and snow is on the way--time get that taken care of, I guess! So, making him take me to dinner since we will already be out and about. I'm sneaky that way! ;)

Morning Losers!

We're not working today, so I have the day "off". I say "off" because I still have some stuff that needs to be sent off to the dept of labor that I need to get together.

But other than that, hopefully I will be able to putter around the house. I might find time to clean a bit. I'm definitely going to find time to nap.

We have a fairly large hispanic population here so I'm hoping several of the grocery stores will carry it. The Wally World in Bellevue should. If not there then there are some Mexican markets in South O. Its so cold, don't know if I want to go out today!

I made soup last night it was awesome. I'll post the recipe in the lounge.

My mom had over a foot of snow yesterday. Are you supposed to get much MNFM? We are expecting flurries according to the weather dude this morning. Yay:guilty:

Just flurries today. More expected tomorrow, but I think the 70 degree temps earlier this week have warmed the ground enough that we won't have anything hang around for too long. At least, that is my dream...:wizard:

What up losers?

I feel like I could stretch for a mile. But I'd be too lazy to walk back.

It's a drizzly, rainy day here. Hopefully I can stay in the house all day long and just putter around. I have some things to do, like Mt. Washme, but I'm not motivated enough yet to get started.

Anyone have any plans for today?

Morning,

I have no plans today. It's cold and windy and I'm not going anywhere. I have a few things that need to get picked up but nothing that can't be put off until the last possible second.

I also have to figure something out for dinner. I have no idea what to make and I am out of ideas.
