I had to be at work. Much craziness ensues. As always. But I made some people laugh and told them about my green egg salad story, so all in all, it was good.

I've got dinner cooking now. We're having a roast.

Good morning. I'm avoiding my mother. Her mother sense is ringing and I would have a hard time outright lying to her about the lumps in my **** thing. She, however, is getting more persistent and just called me on my cell and e-mailed me in my office. So how do I avoid her for two more days?

Tell her you're not feeling 100% but you'll call her when your crazy week is over.

I'm here! I had to buy the groceries today. I never made it yesterday and the TP stash was at a critical low . But I got Halloween candy and lots of good stuff, too. Now lets see if I can stay away from those Twix bars.

I have Twix bars (Aren't you proud of me? I haven't had even one.) I also have Reese PB Cups with caramel. I thought they'd be safe because they don't even sound good. That and when you wait until 2 days before Halloween to buy your candy you get what you get (and you don't throw a fit)

Morning,

I sent Minnie off to school with the Fire Cheif. I'm thinking neither one of them got enough sleep last night. Hopefully they will make up for it tonight. Otherwise The Winner is going to have to take them Trick or Treat. The Fire Engine said, "I'm done wif dis costume. I don need any candy." We shall see if he changes his tune later.

We still have to buy candy. We had some Snickers and Peanut m&m's but someone ate them. Wal-Mart still had a ton left so hopefully we can still get the good stuff so no one decides to egg our house or anything.

I only bought one bag of candy this year. DD had enough candy left over from all of the parades this summer that the bucket was half full with it. THAT stuff goes first, then the candy bars. My neighbor is a cop, so hopefully his house will be egged before they get to mine...

It's supposed to be 70 today and tomorrow. Maybe I should buy more candy. I try to get good stuff, but not my favorites. DD is having friends over we are having bloody worms with eyeballs for dinner. Maybe some bones or witches' brooms on the side and some creepy-crawler juice. yummmm DS is dissing us this year for a friend's halloween party.

I'll be glad when Halloween is over, to tell you the truth. The little one is going as a policeman. Well, that's all good and fine, but the problem is that he keeps pulling out his stuff. This costume has a hat, a nightstick, a cb radio thingy, handcuffs, handcuff keys, belt, badge, etc. He won't leave that stuff alone, and I know half of it will be lost before we go trick or treating. And then he'll be crying because stuff is missing.

Do you have a local donut shop or dunkin donuts there? Michael went as a policeman when he was 3 and instead of doing a traditional ToT bag he carried around a munchkin box to put his candy in - cop with a donut box! People thought it was hysterical!
