My DS10 can be very moody and whiny at times..sometimes he is just downright angry..I think we are going to have his doctor (psychologist who diagnosed his ADD) talk t him and see if he is depressed. This started a while ago, and we have been waiting for him to outgrow it He has fun, but I think he is just too moody for a kid his age. Doesn't help that DS8 is a pesky little twit that can grate on his last nerve.
I'm jealous..Isn't Trader Joes where you can Two Buck Chuck? I want one! and IKEA, AND I want them to bring back the Disney Outlet to the Hilton Head outlets..it closed 6 months before we moved here...No Disney Stores, either. We have a Gap and Old Navy, but they don't excite me anymore.

Sorry about your ds! I feel the pain.
I don't know. I keep hearing they have wonderful this & that but I will need to try and get a list from someone.
The outlets about an hour away just opened some new stores I am excited about Kate Spade, Disney, Juicy, and one or two others that caught my eye. But about 15 or 20 more total plus a food court.
Here's what I have planned, I have someone else helping, it would be easier just to do it myself. Aren't I nice?
Monday, each child brings in a stem of flowers to put into a vase I bought at Walmart.
Tuesday-breakfast for Teacher
Wednesday-Box of folded notes children have made up ahead of time, box is lined with pretty pink organza (got at Target Dollar Place for $.50) and note hopefully say things, like "I love You", "you are a great teacher", etc. I am going to read them before I give them her, although I am sure none of the little darlings would write something not nice..![]()
Thursay -Lunch or not, haven't decided...
Friday-gift card presentation, hopefully parents have given some money so we can buy one that isn't an embarrassing amount.
The boys did , however talk me into going to the PTA meeting because they get a homework pass if I do. So I am going to sit in a boring election meeting just so my kids don't have to do homework one night. Boy, I am a loser, and I'm teaching my kids to be a loser.
Bye y'all..
Whoa!Back up. Think about what you just said. If your start cooking for your DH, then someone else's DH will expect them to cook too, then the next thing you know - my DH will expect me to cook for him. Do you have any idea what kind of damage you could do???? 16 years - he's obviously surviving somehow. I probably wouldn't worry too much about him. Now, you, on the other hand - if you start getting involved with cooking, the next thing you know, you'll want to start cleaning too! I'm just trying to protect you from crossing over to the winners.

(I do cook sometimes - when I have time, which is not very often. Unless you count mac & cheese - in that case, I'm a chef. Thank goodness my mother lives nearby!)

The DIS is boring. I'm going to go pick up my van(finally) after we shuffle the kids around. Be good and don't everyone fall asleep from boredom!
Is this where the bored meeting is?
Yep--Dullsville. I have actually been 'wasting away' on some other sites that have been in my Favorites awhile but have been neglected as of late. The Dis just doesn't seem to be holding my attention....maybe it's spring fever...maybe not...![]()
Honey, I'm hoooooome!
Mom we are bored wahhhhhhhhhhh
You want something to do? I'll give you something to do...you can start by scrubbing the kitchen floor....
Umm mom can you show me how![]()
