Hey everyone. I have found out a big downside to having all of your services w/ one company - cable, phone, & internet. If something happens to it, they are all gone. Well my neighbor had someone aerate her yard & it cut our cable for all of our services. So I have been w/out for almost 2 days now. But just got it back about 30 minutes ago So now I have 15 pages to catch up on. Wow it's been busy here!

But I'm glad you're back. I can't imagine living without tv, phone, and net for two days.

Well I was up at dawn to get my son registered for his sophmore year next year. I was 2nd in line so it went quick. I accomplished alot this week with physicals, school signups, cheer signups etc etc. Now I get to look forward to schedule day and locker day and booksale day. All fun events. LOL

Thank goodness this school has a wine tasting event coming up to take the edge off everything else HAHAHA.

My MIL is coming up to spend the night. She is going to my oldest daughters water polo tournament tomorrow with me and my mom. I didn't know a thing about water polo when my daughter signed up and thought I would hate it, but it is actually a little interesting. You don't hear about that many kids taking water polo. I don't think I have ever seen a post on the Dis about it.

My DD plays water polo sometimes for fun day during swim practice. She hates it because the older boys are awfully rough. I assume there are more rules when you play for real? I really know nothing about it--it looks a bit like chaos when I've watched.

Ok I have to tell this story. I was at Wallyworld today picking up a few things and I stopped at the end of an aisle...well more like an endcap where they have merchandise all along the wall to look at a new Nair product. I have my cart as close to the wall as I can so others can get by. There is maybe an inch between my cart and the shelves. Next thing I know this woman comes barreling by me and shoots me this nasty look and mutters something about moving over so others can pass. Well I shoot her a nasty look right back and said in the snidest most sarcastic tone I could, "well excuse me, let me move my cart over the other inch so you can get by." She had plenty of room...I think she was just trying to be rude.

Some people I once went to Walmart just for beer. Some lady is going down the main aisle and stops her cart so it's vertically blocking the beer aisle. I politely said excuse me--twice. She wouldn't move so I sighed and walked around. Never said anything at all. Grabbed my beer and walked out. She's still there. I say excuse me again--she STILL won't move so I just brush past. She says to her DH (?) as I am walking away "Don't let me get into your way getting beer. Some people--that's why I don't like shopping at Wal Mart" I couldn't believe it. Nearly turned around to tell her what I thought but decided it would be safer to keep on going.

Lara--your kids are so cute! I miss when mine were cute.
Shore--you really should take a pic. Those cute days don't last forever--trust me.

Queenie-Java Chiller? Hmmm I may have to check that out. DOn't know yet what DD and I are having for dinner. Maybe Sonic?


Finished my last boook in the Twilight series today. Now I cant' wait til August when the next book comes out. You should check them out sometime. The first book (Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer) starts a little slow, but they are definitely worth reading! The movie comes out in Dec.

Tried to watch a show I dvr'd but it won't play. Wish me luck re-setting the dvr. If I lose all my stuff I'm NOT gonna be happy!

Oh yeah and DS5 has been running around and when my mom arrived he asked her if Mommom could show ehr how to crabwalk and he started trying to do it. So who knows what the heck is going on with his foot

I haven't either, but I bet the folks on the CB wil find a way to turn it nasty within 5 pages!

Gosh I cant wait to have a drink tonight at the social. Although I have to behave bc two years ago I didnt eat, had too much wine, and fell and broke my wrist when we were leaving. So now I dont drink a whole lot at these things.

did you say before that this was a SCHOOL social? I bet the gossip was flying!!

DS8 and DS10 have been outside terrorizing nature for the past two hours. JK, they are very respectful of nature and very gentle with any little creature they manage to capture. Anyway, I went outside to see what they are doing, they walk up with one of my big plastice storage boxes with all kinds of plants and grass in it. I asked what's up, they said they had a lizard in there that they had been feeding bugs. I tell them it's time to let the lizrd go. So I get them to open it, they move everything around...no lizard, lizard has flown the coop. So I am laughing at DS8 his lizard escaped. I leave them to ponder the lizardless box, and they come inside for something, then when DS8 turns to go outside, DH notices something on his back. The little lizard is clinging to his back. His shirt was green, maybe she thought he was her momma.(Yes she was a girl..DS8 decided she was.) So he takes her off his shirt, and lets her go. DH took some pictures, maybe I can download them.

I have a cat named Hitler. Nothing that small could survive in this house. He totally killed the straw that was laying on the floor this morning. Good job, kitty!

Of course, Hissa could probably eat Hitler, and I'm guessing that's why I haven't seen a dead Pissa around.

I still wanna know how the pee got in the tub??
