Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

WELCOME HOME FIREEATER!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. It's good to be home. The twosome haven't let me out of their sight since I got back. I had to wait till 11pm to take my motorcycle out for gas and a test ride to make sure everything was still working. So now me and DS#1 will be going for a bike ride in the morning.

Boy, I see we all have been busy.....

I don't want to do a marathan quote right now....tooo tired but I will sum it up with
popcorn:: :woohoo: :eek: :scared1: :laughing: :confused3 :cheer2: :flower3: :scared: :rolleyes: :eek: :confused: :scared1: :cutie: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

And IF I forgot anyone :grouphug:  sorry!

I finally get Saturdays off from work and do I sleep in.....noooooo, do I tell everyone I'm not available.....nooooooo, do I still fill the day with too much crap and look in the mirror at the end of the day going WTH :confused3 YEEEESSSSS!

Got up this AM, got the kids up and headed over to sisters - she wanted to take the kids for a couple hours and who am I to argue with her. She told me probably 4ish so back home we trek - not even 5 minute drive home. I tell the kids to go it and see what dad wants to do and I clean out my car & trunk :scared1: I had soooo much crap in there it was ridiculous! He finally comes out and I decide to throw luncheon meat into the kids as they haven't had anything so we all trek back into the house, grab a sandwich and napkins and load into the car. We end up stopping at Michaels craft store and then go do out letterboxing quest......That turned out to be a 5 MILE HIKE THROUGH THE WOODS - hills, mud, what an adventure! My daughters shoes got sucked into a mud puddle and we had to pull them out, my son fell hands 1st into the muck, so I had them both washing up like Laura Ingalls in the stream :rotfl: I had to laugh at them! Then back home we go. Throw them in the shower, get redressed and drop them off at sisters. DH & I then go on a hunt for that nice comfy lounge chair to put in the yard....he cannot find one he likes so we check out dozens  I said lets check out the local pool/patio place and now he's really gotten bitten by the let's get a pool bug. I'd love one but don't want the work and he doesn't see that :headache: Trying to put that off for 1 more year. Then we go to Home Depot and Walmart and back home. We had steak, broccoli, and egg noodles for supper with fresh Watermelon!!! Then we tackled putting together our new fire pit - easy assembly but 1/2 the screws were missing :headache: Had to go back to Home depot to buy 2 packages of screws. Finished assembly so when kiddos got home around 9:30 we lit a fire and had marshmellows and sat out there for awhile. Now we're all snuggling down - kids are in bed, 1 is asleep, DH is snoring and I am heading there too. Baseball parade in the AM and then I'm off to work till 6:30......see ya all tomorrow night.....be good or leave links :thumbsup2

i've lost my mind. Im cleaning my entire room. I can't find anything, the puppy keeps disappearing in corners, I can't find any clothes, theres crap from one end to the next.

I'll be back when I find my mind.

Man that was a long game but the fireworks at the end made up for it. Seriously the game started just after 7 and by 8:30 we were still in the 3rd inning. But my team did score 10 runs in the second off of a wild pitch, double and 4 homeruns. But the scoreboard apparently isn't setup for double digit innings so it said we scored 0 runs in the second. Ah well. We won and that is what matters.

Boy it didn't take you guys long to trash out the new place. :rotfl:
Welcome home FE!
What do you mean--this? This isn't trashed! You never saw the last one right before we left, did you? It's all about perspective!
I know what you meanabout the kids. Mine are older and when DH is gone they still stick to him like glue for a while when he gets home.

I like them mean.

I've just been away. Like you.
Welcome back, JJ. Who you callin' mean?

IAHD--You made up for me yesterday. All I did was drive a kid somplace and run to Target. Nothing else all day. (It was nice:goodvibes ) Now I pay for tht today. Too much to do.....

Kate--Sounds like you're getting your first taste of motherhood with the new pup. Hope she feels better soon.

Linty--They weren't playing the Royals were they? I don't really follow them, but they are my 'home' team.

Morning Losers.

Anyone else lose washcloths? Apparently at my house, they are like gold, because someone keeps stealing them.

I mean, I know I have a pile of laundry to do, but I don't think there's 20 washcloths in the pile.

I use a louffa (whatever they're called), so I don't monitor the washcloth situation very closely -- but last night, I ended up having to find an old rag (lmao!!) for my hubby to use. He just shook his head and didn't say anything.

I guess I'm going on a search and rescue mission this morning to try to save the lost washcloths. Anybody wanna join me?

Morning....have to feed the kids but I wanted to say hey..

wb FE and JJ (so nice of you to have initials to streamline the hi process)

did you say before that this was a SCHOOL social? I bet the gossip was flying!!:rotfl:

Yes I broke my wrist at a SCHOOL social. Actually no one really saw it bc it was at the end of the night and a lot of people had left or were leaving. The H&S president did see it and she was the only one who kept reminding everyone where it happened and that she saw it:headache: What a witch.

Most people when they saw me were like what the heck, I didnt see you fall. They just saw first the arm sling and then the cast. And most of the parents were like "oh that sooo could have been me, dont feel bad" I was mortified and depressed for a bit but most parents were so cool about it excpet the witch that I eventaully was like oh well it happened. So now I stick to beer which I can drink a ton of and have no problems, unlike wine or mixed drinks and then I make sure I eat a lot and then I switch to soda.

Last night was fun. We did not win any of our silent auctions. We weret rying to win Phillies tickets and Baltimore Orioles tickets. We were winning all night and then someone swooped in at the end.:sad2:

Off to wash uniforms today. And a million other things

Morning all:goodvibes

Have to work today so willcheck in on the news later, Kate, I hope that puppy feels better. when Bruno was about 4 mos. old i woke up in the AM to find the ENTIRE kitchen, stem to stern, covered in poop, we lost 2 rugs, 2 cat houses and 2 doggie beds that day, what a mess. I didn;t think it would ever end....he felt better later that day tho, don't know what he got iinto but it show got outta him!:rotfl:

Talk later, have fun today!

Psst - just use your hands. That's what we 'dirty foreigners' do! :rotfl: (seriously, there once was a washcloth thread here and I explained that most people outside N America don't use them - apparently that makes us dirty and smelly. And I just checked - I smell fresh and clean, thank you very much!)

I had a non-LOSER day I think - drove to Salzburg to lust over the guitar player outside the cathedral (my new secret crush) and listen to his music. Ran into the scary scary clown so I had to eat a gelato to calm down after that (Scary clown is usually behind the cathedral but he moved to another location and is scarier than ever) :scared1:

Now I am sitting down with a piece of cake and having a loserish night - hope that everyone has a peaceful Sunday :)

Happy Weekend Losers!

You have been busy messing up the place, I see. Love the half painted walls and the thin layer of grease on the counters! Not totally trashed yet, but getting there!:rotfl:

So, I hit my 25lb. mark yesterday! :goodvibes I was SO happy, but then things went horribly awry and I am pretty sure I ate it all back yesterday!:scared1: Here's what happened: First, DD did GREAT at swim lessons, so DH told her to pick a place for lunch. We are thinking she'll pick McD's, BK or some other random drive thru place, right? Nope, she picks the mexican restaurant in town. Don't get me wrong--it's VERY good, but I just cannot resist their chips/salsa/cheese dip! Yikes! Okay, that is not great, but easy to recover from, I think. However, after The Backyardigans LIVE, we went to a brewhouse restaurant. Fine, I can get a steak, veggies, etc....BUT DH orders a deep fried appetizer ( ) AND a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE slice of carrot cake (real cream cheese frosting AND sitting in caramel sauce!) for dessert. I felt just miserable all night! My stomach hurt and I was mad at myself for giving in to all that naughty food!

The Backyardigans were...okay. The characters were in full costumes, except for their faces. :confused3 They were cut out (much like a Halloween costume) so that you could see the actor's faces. (Pablo didn't even have a beak. What kind of penguin doesn't have a beak?? :confused3 )

I was kind of ticked about this actually. Kids this age think those characters are REAL and to show that there are people in the costumes, well, I just think that is wrong for this age group (to which they are obviously catering). DD didn't say anything about it, but DH (who was holding her) said he thought she was kind of shocked when they came out like that. Other than that, the show was fine, I guess...they changed the storyline and the words to some songs, so the kids couldn't even sing a long to a lot of it.

Oh, and no cameras allowed at all. Disney ALWAYS allows cameras to their shows. Nickelodeon apparently does not.

Okay, that's enough whining from me. Should probably fix breakfast or something, but I may have to think about that a bit more!

Welcome home, Fire Eater! I know Tink is happy you are back!

Kate, if I had known that your crown was pink, I would have suggested the pink shoes. Either pair would have hurt equally as bad though, I'd bet! Glad you had fun! Hope the puppy is better.

Gotta go hide my washcloths before they go missing...:lmao:

I think the Universe is trying to tell me to clean my house.

My net connection (satellite) keeps going out. The weather isn't horrible, but it is pretty cloudy. I think that it's the Universe saying "Enough DIS'ing already! Get off your behind and clean that house!"

But, of course, me being the stubborn person I am, I just keep waiting for the modem lights to come back on. The Universe can't control me!

I don't know where any of our washclothes are either. I guess they are somewhere but I don't think anyone in the house uses them. We just use the soap and hope we turn out clean LOL.

Today my daughter has a water polo match. Should be fun.

I just popped off the space bar on my keyboard to look underneath and :scared1:. I could end third world hunger with all the crumbs in my keyboard. I am going to steal a can of air from my dad today.
