Hello all,

You were so helpful last time I had a question that I thought I might indulge y'all again. :) We are staying in the cabins. I plan on packing enough clothing for about 1/2 our stay and then doing a couple loads of laundry during the middle of our trip. Where exactly are the washers/dryers located at this resort? And how do I get my laundry there? I assume that I cannot drive to them.

Also, am I correct in assuming that I cannot drive to the Settlement and park my car when taking the boat to the MK? Which bus do I take from the cabins to get to the Settlement for the boat launch?

Which bus do I take to get to the campfire? Does the bus drop us off right at those places or will we have to walk a little? Would a stroller be helpful? (We have a 3 year old who sometimes "insists" on being carried when she's tired and would prefer to push her in the stroller if need be).

Do I need to bring my own towels to the pool or do they have extras there?

Thanks for everyone's help!!

Bring your own towels to the pool.
The laundry is by the pool between 2500 & 2700 loop. You can take a bus or drop somone off with the laundry, there is no vehicle parking there.
You can not drive or park at the settlement. bus, bike or golf cart parking.
I'd say a stroller would be very handy.

1) There is a laundry located at the swimming pool for cabin visitors

2) No, you can't drive to the Settlement. You would have to take a bus to get there (or walk or bike, but it's definitely a bit of a walk). You can take the Purple, Orange or Yellow bus to get to the Settlement.

3) Not sure about the campfire. You might have to walk a little bit, but we're not talking very far at all here.

4) You have to bring your own towels if you want to go to the pool, however I do believe you can request that they leave you extra towels if you plan on going to the pool

As far as busses, there is a color coded route map at every stop, very easy to figure out. there is a bus to The Meadows which is the campfire stop.

The Purple bus goes by the cabins. From your cabin bus stop, take the Purple Settlement bus to go to Settlement (Magic Kingdom)

Take the Purple Outpost bus to go to all other parks.

To get to Meadows, take the Purple Settlement bus, and it will make a stop at the Medows area.

I would suggest you go to WalMart and get the mesh laundry bags that are 1.97 each (I got 3) and take the laundry in the bags with you on the bus to the comfort station or have someone drop you off in the car. We have a golf cart, so we loaded them up in the cart. They are easy to carry and make it easy to fold the clothes back into to carry back. We stayed for 12 days and only packed clothes for half the trip and did laundry at the half point. Before you go, drop by your bank and get a roll of quarters for the washers and dryers. They are $2 a load for each. Some of the time the machines are out of change and it is a PITA to find another one, especially when all your clothes are there with you. There are 5 washers and 6 dryers. The washers are bigger than the dryers and the dryers don't always dry on the first try. We ended up doing 5 loads of wash and 7 loads of dry. The machines are pretty harsh on the clothes so if you have stuff that you care about, wash it inside out. We learned the hard way. Bring your own detergent, they have some available, but they are really small boxes and are a dollar each for detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets.

I hope this helps a bit.
