We will be in a studio at VWL in May. This is our first DVC stay. Any tips on the washer/dryers for studio guests?

I am assuming they are free and are in a laundry room someplace?

I will probably bring my own laundry supplies from home unless any has other suggestions.

Are they crowded?

Thanks.

I can't remember where the W/D units where at VWL. However they were not crowded and the do sell the little boxes of detergent ($1.00 I think).

Hi there,

We have stayed in a fourth floor studio 2 years go and used the washer and dryers on the ground floor, there are 2 or 3 washers and the same number dryers. They are free to members with soap & bounce available via the vending machine which takes $o.25 coins, there is a dollar change machine also.

If I remember correctly, the W/D are on the first floor down the short hallway closest to the Lodge building. There were only a couple of washers and 4 dryers (I think). I brought my own laundry tabs and used them during an afternoon, while the rest of the family was in the pool. There was no wait for me. But if anybody else is using them you might have to wait since there are just a few washers available. We always end up doing laundry on vacation, and this was very convienient for us. Plus the fact that it was free was a nice benefit. Have a great trip!

Thanks. It will be a real "treat" to be able to do laundry on vacation....
