May 2025 Fort Wilderness Movie and Recreation Calendar

Since folks can only stay 30 days at the Fort max (and then have to take 30 days off away), it's reasonable that the movie schedule covers two months. And ....



.... with two movie listed for each day, that means a two-week rotation meaning "Moana" is played every OTHER Saturday and "Wish" on the alternating two Saturdays. (got to keep it simple for the readers in Lee County).

Chip and Dale out and about during these times have been awesome. There was not a line all week and they will come out and play games with some of the kids and spent lots of time with them. Much better than the 2 seconds they used to get at the sing along. They played rock paper scissors with my grandkids and they just loved it

Your right! Kids were so happy, and they are just in Love with Chip and Dale, so much so, Chip and Dale were probably happy we left!!! They were on cloud nine all week. Never complained once and never stopped. I was completely worn out but a very happy grandma. They will remember it always

We were out walking the pups and just happened to be in the campfire area when the chipmunks came out. There wasn’t anyone there to meet them so they asked their handlers if they could pet the dogs. It was such a cute moment, but I didn’t have my camera to record it.

Two of my dogs are Pyrenees and they are shedding, Chip and Dale were covered in white dog hair after the meeting. They held their hands out to their handlers to be cleaned, it was cute and funny.

They thanked us for being there. I got the feeling that not many people are coming out for the meet and greet, so it may not last very long.
