Was Tomorrowland filmed at DL?

The previews for Tomorrowland look a lot like Disney parks. Was it filmed (or based on) Disneyland/Disney World?

No. Its A Small World opened at the 1964 NYC Worlds Fair, so that is where the previews are supposed to be based.

Parts of Tomorrowland were filmed at It's a Small World in Disneyland and at the Carousel of Progress in Disneyworld. Both of those rides debuted at the NYC World's Fair.

I believe some was filmed at Disneyland, specifically in and around IASW.

By the way, the portions filmed in Carousel of Progress in Walt Disney World were NOT used in the film. I saw an advanced showing of the movie last night.

It's not that good of a movie by the way... I was pretty disappointed.

Too bad. My kids are looking forward to this one.

Oh it's great for kids under 14.... they will love it and it will inspire them. But just as a movie in general, it wasn't well done. Some parts are enjoyable, but most of the audience left feeling somewhat let down.

The previews didn't look that great to me, guess it's a Redbox type of movie after all!

Okay, I'll admit it. After seeing this preview over and over, i still don't fully understand what the movie is about. Netflix movie?

Yes some plate photography was completed in the Disney parks but most of the movie was shot in Vancouver. I would definitely go see it in the theatre for the amazing visuals alone.
