Was "Out of the Box" cancelled?

"Out of the Box" is one of DD4's favorite shows. In fact, DS1.5 has just learned how to say "Out-a-box". Naive me just realized last night that the one saved on the Tivo is the same one they've been watching for quite a while. So I checked the guide and it said there aren't any episodes scheduled. Was it cancelled or is it just taking the rest of the summer off?

there was a thread about this a while back.. and i believe someone said they are just taking the summer off... i hope so, my dd loves that show!!

My DD loves this show as well. I think I was the one that said they're taking the summer off. I don't have any facts to back that up but it just seems that with more kids home Playhouse Disney wanted to shake things up a little for the summer and give more air time to The Doddle Bops ( ). The breakfast with Bear and Daniel Cook things are new and mostly likely just for the summer. I guess only time will tell.

Looking at the Playhouse Disney site, Bear in the Big Blue House is still listed under "Shows", even though it isn't on right now. But there's nothing for "Out of the Box". Maybe Tony and Viv got a Broadway gig??
