Hey Mary! Who was your server at Palo?
Tell us about some goodies you enjoyed!!!
Mel we had Anne Marie and she was WONDERFUL! Of course it started out champagne and they had two to choose from. A regular one and a Kir (sp?) which was pink in color. You will have to forgive me on this as we don't drink. Just grabbed what everyone else did so someone could have 2.
Then a tour of the buffet area which is enough to put on 10 lbs.

We started loading our plates. The sticky buns are now served warm and they are to die for! Of course I also had to have some stollen bread - heaven. Mark loaded up on the seafood - he loves the shrimp they serve here.
She then brought in a couple of each of the savory pizzas. The had cheese and tomato, pepperoni, and spicy Italian sausage.
Next was the hot entree. I went the breakfast route and had an omlet while Mark went more to the lunch side and did chicken parmigean.
Then of course came dessert! If you love choclate this is the place. I had a chocolate pot which really creamy. I heard rave reviews for all the other desserts as well.
Towards the end one of the husbands left right as one of the other guys started taking group shots so poor Stacey was left without a DH. Anne Marie to the rescue - she brought in Marco to pose with her. Then she brought in Tony to pose with her. Then she brought in one of the chefs Aldo to pose with her. It was all in good fun!
We even had a photographer come up and take a group shot. A nice momento of the day.
Very important - we started out brunch with the news that GaRry's insurance came through so we were all VERY VERY HAPPY about that!
The rest of the day was kind of lazy. I'm not one for laying by the pool. Mark did a lot of reading and napping. I went to part of the art auction, then the cake decorating. Also did a little shopping. I heard there was also a scrapbook class but I didn't go to that.
For those of you who have teens and tweens that like High School Musical they showed it on the Dumbotron yesterday afternoon. They got quite a crowd in and around the pool watching it.
Then it was time to get ready for formal night. Had our picture taken with Captain Tom in the atrium and had a beautiful table right next to the windows so we could watch the sea go by. Didn't keep the curtains open too long as the sun was coming in and blinding others. This DIS group cleans up nice! There were some very elegant ladies and some dashing gentlemen. The PDFG pin seemed to be the tie tac of choice last night.
After dinner we went and saw the Golden Mickeys - we had only seen it once before. Very fun. Then I'm afraid we hit the sack. We left the after party for those nighttime DISers.
This morning I got up early to walk my mile and now the sun is starting to come up. Looks like another beautiful day ahead of us in Costa Maya.
