Hi!

First, if there is already an existing March 2026 thread, please let me know!

We will be staying 5 nights with tickets for 1 park a day for 4 days.

Previous trips have been at YC, CB, Pop and other values, as well as VRBO offsite.
We are traveling with 8 people.
3 Adults, 4 teens, 1 8yo.
3 first time visitors 🤩

What are your March plans in DW?
What are budget friendly magical experiences for an 8yo?
Im hoping for discounts to be added when they come out.

I just booked March 27-31 at ASMu. Going to watch my daughter's band march down Main Street!

I'd definitely try out the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure with the 8 year old. We've done it in a couple of older iterations (Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb). You used to need to get a device from a CM to do it, but now it's part of the Play Disney Parks app. It takes you around World Showcase solving puzzles and it interacts with things in the park. There's also a version for Star Wars on the same app, but I've never tried that one.

I have been several times to watch my daughter cheer. Vacation Disney is much different than event Disney, but still fun! :) I will take any reason to go to Disney! We normally have older kids, so this will be much different with my niece (8yo). Thanks for the tips! I am hoping she will / can ride all of the rides. We will probably let the older kids/young adults separate from us at times. We are thinking of dining at Akershus so that she can see all of the princesses.

Our favorite low cost activity at Epcot is the passport book. They’re for sale in any park gift shop. There are stickers & you can get them stamped in each country at the Kidcot stations.

In Animal Kingdom, Wilderness Explorers is a free activity where you complete tasks & earn stickers in an activity book.

Thank you! I will be checking on those for my niece. We have not done either in our prior trips. We did find that doing the PIN trading was beneficial after rides. Instead of the kids wanting to buy from the gift shops they searched for pin trading cast members. :)

Watching this thread! We will be at Disney March 13-18, 2026 for my daughter's high school band trip. I also will take any excuse for a Disney trip!

Has everyone booked their resorts or are you waiting on future discounts? Historically, I think they will come out in Oct.

Fun fact: This will be my 9th trip to DW. I'm excited since it will be 100% vacation and not related to work or a competition, and 3 of our party will be first timers. :)

I am happy to see this thread! We will be arriving on 2/26 and staying until 3/12. We’ve rented DVC points for a 3-way split stay. So looking forward to it!

We booked a DVC at Grand Floridian. It's been on our bucket list to stay there. Can't wait!
It's been a hot minute since I've planned a Disney trip so I need to figure out what all we need to do before then!

First timers are usually the best!

I’ve rented DVC points for this trip. Otherwise, I spend way too much time switching resorts

We just moved our summer 2026 trip up to March 2026, due to some other major travel plans for the summer. We're camping at Fort Wilderness the 8th through the 14th, with park days planned for 9th through the 13th.

It'll be our first time back in the spring, since our kids' Disney band trips (and our first time back to Disney World since 2011). Previous spring break trips coincided with Easter week, but my wife's spring break has shifted to earlier in March. I'm hoping that shift will benefit us, but it'll be what it'll be.

Easter isn't till April 5th this year, so beginning of March shouldn't be that bad! We went this year 3/10 - 3/19 for our DD'S college softball spring break tournament and the crowds were not bad at all. We boked a bounce back for this coming November but due to work issues we moved it to March 2026, hoping for the same crowds!!

Thanks. It's good to hear that. I'm hoping the same thing, but will plan for otherwise. :)
