Was given a discount mailer. Can we use it?

A lady from DH's office gve him a discount card mailer she received. It is for 40% off a value resort if booked by March 15. It says to use the promo code in yellow when calling to book. Below the promo code is the woman's name and address. Does anyone know if we will be able to use this or would only the named person be able to redeem it? TIA

Does it have a PIN code? I think that if it is just a promo code (not a PIN code) you might be able to use it.

What is the difference between a PIN and a promo? This is a 15 digit code broke into 3 sets of 5 numbers. XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX like that and high lighted in yellow.

Afraid not, the address and name on the card are in their computer files and the PIN code in yellow matches her name and address.

I am sure somewhere on the card in small print it says Offer is not transferable.

That's what I figured.

I guess I will give it back to her. Would her adult son be able to use it for himself since he lives with her, even though it is in her name? Maybe I wil reccommend that to her. It's too good of an offer to go to waste.

That might be allowed, they seem to be more flexible if the address is the same. Can't hurt to call and ask.

They are good offers and we all wish we would get them. Sadly the mailing of them seems to very random.
